Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview

This role supports commercial value creation by partnering with Selling and Commercial teams to deliver pricing, analytics, and market insights that improve decision‑making and profitability. The Value Creation Analyst plays a hands‑on role in developing pricing strategies, analyzing market dynamics, and supporting incentive and rebate programs that strengthen customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to build broad commercial experience within a global orthopedic leader while directly influencing revenue growth and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of commercial and pricing strategies across targeted products, customer segments, and geographies.

  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to understand pricing trends, customer needs, and trade dynamics.

  • Build and maintain pricing and value models to assess the business impact of different commercial scenarios.

  • Assist in preparing business impact analyses related to pricing strategies, incentive programs, and commercial initiatives.

  • Support the design and execution of channel partner incentive and rebate programs to enhance brand loyalty and commercial performance.

  • Develop customer and segment insights that inform sales strategy and value‑based selling approaches.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Strategy teams to align commercial execution with business objectives.

  • Prepare clear, data‑driven presentations and recommendations for management decision‑making.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field).

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in commercial analytics, pricing, sales operations, strategy, or related roles.

  • Experience conducting market, pricing, or customer segmentation analyses.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; comfort building basic financial and pricing models.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional, matrixed environment.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑ready presentations.

Preferred:

  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or highly regulated industries.

  • Exposure to value‑based pricing, trade relations, or incentive program design.

  • Familiarity with commercial KPIs and performance tracking.

  • Experience supporting Sales or Commercial teams in a regional or global context.

  • Knowledge of Latin America healthcare markets.

Other:

  • Languages: Fluent Spanish required; English proficiency required.

  • Travel: Up to 10–20%, primarily within the region.

  • Certifications: None required.
