Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Manager Data Standards & Quality to establish and maintain data standards and ensure consistent data quality across the entire IMSC landscape. This role bridges traditional enterprise systems (e.g., ERPs) and the shared analytics/AI readiness platform (CDL), ensuring harmonized standards and quality practices across domains.

A key part of our vision is that data governance becomes the most automated component in the ecosystem, with data standards and data quality embedded into automated workflows and intelligent monitoring solutions. The Senior Manager will lead this transformation by defining frameworks, driving automation, and fostering innovation to deliver trusted, compliant, and fit-for-purpose data for operational and analytical use cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain enterprise-wide data standards and quality frameworks, ensuring consistency and interoperability across systems.

  • Set the innovation agenda for automated standards and quality governance, including AI-driven monitoring, rule-based enforcement, and self-service capabilities.

  • Collaborate with the MDM Governance and Analytics Platform Governance leads to ensure implementation and execution of standards and quality monitoring.

  • Align with Information Architecture and JJT partners to embed standards and automation into the broader data ecosystem.

  • Drive strategic initiatives for automation and innovation in governance processes.

  • Communicate vision and progress effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Monitor adoption and maturity of standards and quality frameworks, reporting on trends and improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

· Master’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience in data governance, data quality management, or related roles.

· Strong understanding of data standards frameworks and data quality methodologies.

· Hands-on experience with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP) and analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks).

· Technical proficiency in data quality tools, automation frameworks, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL).

· Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and metadata management solutions.

· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

· Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving governance initiatives.

· Fluent in English.

· Strategic thinking and problem-solving.

· Ability to innovate and implement automation in governance processes.

· Data-driven decision making.

· Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry.

· Knowledge of GxP, GDPR, DAMA or similar frameworks.

· Experience in large corporate or matrixed environments.
