Job Description:

This position defines and drives the Innovative Solutions strategy across Mexico, ensuring successful deployment, positioning integrated services and solutions as a key lever for value creation, market expansion, and long-term growth for J&J Surgery. Works in close collaboration with the Health Economics team, KAM team, Medical Affairs team and Account Leaders to identify customer needs, shape differentiated value propositions, and design and implement innovative solutions that make J&J Surgery a relevant and trusted partner across priority accounts. Under the direct influence of this position, commercial teams are expected to embed Innovative Solutions into commercial plans and account strategies, requiring strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to influence sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams without formal authority. This role also plays a critical part in monitoring project execution, tracking ROI and business impact, and providing visibility to internal stakeholders and customer C-suite executives to demonstrate progress, outcomes, and partnership value. The role is expected to bring actionable customer insights and partnership opportunities from the market, while also building external alliances with third parties to co-develop solutions that strengthen J&J’s positioning as a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Mexico Innovative Solutions strategy, ensuring alignment with business unit priorities, commercial objectives, and customer needs.
  • Partner closely with Health Economics, KAMs, MAF and Account Leads to define, tailor, and implement innovative customer solutions and value propositions that strengthen J&J Surgery’s relevance across key accounts.
  • Oversee the design, governance, deployment, and lifecycle management of scalable, integrated solutions, ensuring disciplined execution from concept through implementation.
  • Led the cross-functional, internal-external, team defined to implement integrated solutions, ensuring punctual project management, key milestones definition and monitoring, overseeing cadence, setting the required routines and proper governance.
  • Represent Innovative Solutions in regional leadership forums and customer-facing discussions, influencing cross-functional decisions and elevating solution value with senior internal stakeholders and customer C-suite leaders.
  • Sponsor strategic transformation initiatives, including innovation, new business models, and capability building, to accelerate adoption and long-term partnership growth.
  • Generate actionable insights on customer unmet needs, market dynamics, and partnership opportunities to inform account strategies and solution prioritization.
  • Track project development and implementation milestones, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful delivery of customer solutions.
  • Monitor ROI, customer impact, and business outcomes of implemented projects, translating results into clear performance narratives and dashboards for internal leadership and customer executives.
  • Provide regular visibility to internal stakeholders and customer C-suite leaders on project progress, value delivered, and strategic implications for the partnership.
  • Build and manage partnerships with third parties, ecosystem players, and external vendors to co-create differentiated solutions that expand J&J’s value proposition and reinforce its position as a trusted advisor.

  • Lead through influence across the organization, mobilizing cross-functional teams to enable the implementation of Innovative Solutions within priority accounts.
  • Lead complex commercial and cross-functional initiatives, aligning multiple stakeholders around common goals, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong executive presence and consultative leadership when engaging internal leaders, account teams, and customer decision-makers.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Ability to think strategically while translating ideas into disciplined execution and measurable business impact.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management skills across internal and external environments.
  • Experience in project management, implementation follow-up, and process-oriented work across complex initiatives.
  • Strong customer orientation with the ability to generate insights, identify unmet needs, and translate them into relevant partnership opportunities.
  • Ability to connect, align, and lead diverse stakeholders without formal authority in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to tailor messages to executive and customer audiences.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to track ROI, assess business cases, and measure solution impact.
  • Proven ability to manage complexity with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong accountability, and a relentless focus on results, performance, and operational excellence.
