Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic People Leader to lead the Education Operations team supporting ProFed organization for Surgery and EP. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, enhancing service delivery, and leading the transformation of the operations function to better support strategic professional education needs.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in process design, optimization, and automation (preferred), combined with a customer-centric mindset, a strong compliance orientation, and advanced data-driven decision-making capabilities.
You will be responsible for:
Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing operations team supporting surgical education programs.
Drive end-to-end process redesign and optimization to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality of service delivery.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort (desirable).
Ensure a best-in-class customer experience for internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and internal partners.
Act as a change agent, leading the transformation of the operations function to align with strategic education priorities.
Ensure all processes are executed in full compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and industry standards, mitigating risks and maintaining audit readiness.
Establish and enforce governance frameworks, SOPs, and compliance controls across all operational activities.
Leverage data and analytics to monitor performance, generate insights, and enable informed decision-making.
Define and track KPIs and operational metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and accountability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with strategic education, marketing, medical, and commercial teams.
Manage resources, budgets, and operational planning to ensure efficient execution of education initiatives.
Qualifications / Requirements:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in operations leadership, preferably in healthcare, medtech, or education environments.
Strong expertise in process improvement and optimization.
Experience with process automation tools and digital transformation initiatives (desirable).
Strong understanding of compliance requirements and regulated environments (highly valued).
Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and transformation.
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional stakeholder experiences.
Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
