Job Description:

Your Role
We are looking for a student intern to support a Supply Chain Analytics project within our Orthopaedics Supply Chain organization. The focus will be on inventory management analytics and the development of an optimization approach for in‑field inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities

  • Support inventory management and stock optimization analyses

  • Develop and evaluate concepts for optimized infield inventory levels

  • Prepare data-driven insights, dashboards, and management-ready analyses

  • Collaborate closely with the Ortho Supply Chain team in Umkirch (local) and in Zug (EMEA)

Your Profile

  • Enrolled student (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Very good Excel skills; experience with data analytics tools and/or Power BI is a plus

  • Interest in supply chain optimization and data-driven decision-making

  • Structured, proactive, and able to work independently

  • Good English language skills (verbal and written)
