We are searching for the best talent for our DePuy Synthes Marketing Senior Manager, Mexico.
Purpose: Reporting to the Regional Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for creating, communicating, and defining strategies and tactics based upon market input while taking initiative to highlight opportunities and activate them within the portfolio. You will be adept at building strong relationships with key stakeholders with a strong affinity to develop market analysis, market and customer insights to enable the achievement of marketing/sales performance objectives to accelerate long-term growth outlook.

Key Responsibilites:
Direct the marketing activities for a business platforms group of products.
Prepare annual marketing plans which drive actions and outcomes.
Drive the development and implementation the Depuy Synthes marketing strategies based on market dynamics and voice of customer to achieve brand, market share, sales & contribution goals.
Build long-term sales and market share forecasting models, pricing options based on forward thinking, sound research and credible scenarios
Conduct regular marketing team meetings and reviews as a basis for challenging and improving marketing team performance
A strong business partner with sales, Planning and other functions to ensure tactical plans are aligned with strategic plans, including growth plans for ongoing portfolios.
Develop NPI launch excellence plans that meet business goals including customer awareness, interest, evaluation and conversion; ensure strong collaboration with internal stakeholders across all stages of pre-launch, launch and post-launch to ensure excellence in execution
Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and professional groups to support brand and market development activities
Manage internal business processes effectively.
Influence internal systems, processes and support to optimize Franchise recognizing the need to influence without reporting lines
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA is preferred.
8+ years of progressive experience in marketing and/or commercial roles within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare; Orthopaedics experience is required.
Demonstrated success in senior commercial or strategic marketing roles with P&L or portfolio responsibility.
Proven people leadership experience, including team development and performance management.
Experience working across multiple countries and cultures, preferably in Latin America.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to influence at senior leadership levels.
Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time
The candidate must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with overall business acumen. Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities along the entire Cluster. Demonstrated ability to think strategically. Can operate in two worlds — big picture orientation with attention to detail. Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel. Builds effective teams that work well across functions and groups.
This position is located in Mexico.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
