Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Sr. Manager, GSO Due Diligence & Integration located in New Brunswick, NJ.

Position Summary

Leads and coordinates acquisitions, licensing agreements, divestitures, and integrations on behalf of Global Sustainability. Ensures that J&J EHS & Sustainability requirements are transferred, implemented, and embedded into new acquisitions to address and manage risks / liabilities and contribute to the success of the new business. Drive continuous improvement for GSO processes that relate to final divestiture of facilities to ensure compliant closure and to mitigate the risk of future liabilities related to property. Plays an integral part in due diligence business teams and regularly interact with Commercial, Supply Chain, Business Development, Real Estate, Finance and Legal senior management. This role requires a broad and exhaustive understanding of all GSO risk management aspects that could potentially impact an acquisition or divestiture and the confidence to represent issues to senior leadership. Externally, engage with EHS&S assessment providers and regulators.

Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities

New Business Integration:

  • Lead and monitor integration planning and execution activities, prepare action plans, timelines and budgets to bring new acquisitions into conformance with J&J and EHS&S Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner and deploy EHS&S subject matter experts, leaders, and local site management to mitigate risks.
  • Mentor, coach, train, and provide technical assistance to newly acquired companies regarding compliance with J&J and regulatory requirements.

A&D & Business Alignment:

  • Prepare and recommend business cases (financial estimates) to justify resources required to close EHS&S risks and compliance gaps that may exist upon acquisition.
  • Support J&J Real Estate on property transactions, lease negotiations, extensions and terminations from an EHS&S risk management perspective.
  • Partner with J&J business representatives to review current and potential product pipelines in order to anticipate future diligence needs

GSO Assurance & Strategic Project Management:

  • Manage and orchestrate strategy planning, execution, and communication for GSO programs, as assigned
  • Manage Global and Sector GSO projects in collaboration with GSO team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives, monitoring, and reporting progress against strategic plans.
  • Standards / Assurance

Process Improvement:

  • Develop, execute, and continuously improve GSO A&D and Integration processes and practices to ensure successful business transactions and integration, including use of novel technologies to improve workflow

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree - Safety, Engineering, Industrial Sciences, or related fields

Required Years of Related Experience: 10 years in EHS, due diligence, A&D (preferably within a large corporation) or related experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent leadership, project management and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of EHS&S regulations and procedures
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to acquisitions and divestitures.

Other

  • Up to 20% travel is required, including domestic and international.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
