Position overview
The UKI EP/NV Supply Chain Leader is responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain performance across the UK & Ireland cluster, ensuring strong alignment between global strategy and local execution.
This role acts as a key Supply Chain integrator and strategic partner to Commercial leadership, enabling customer-centric value creation, operational excellence, and business growth.
The position is accountable for service, inventory, cost and cash performance, while ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration and customer engagement.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Lead and execute the end-to-end supply chain strategy for the UK & Ireland, ensuring alignment with global EP/NV priorities and delivering strong performance across service, cost, inventory, and cash.
Partner with Commercial leadership to support growth through supply reliability, product launch readiness, deal enablement, and participation in tenders and customer interactions.
Own customer service performance and customer experience, including monitoring KPIs (OTIF, fill rate, lead times) and driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across Planning, Customer Service, Distribution & Transportation, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Finance.
Manage supply chain escalations and disruptions, coordinating with regional teams to resolve shortages and ensure recovery aligned with business priorities.
Foster a customer-centric and inclusive culture, promoting collaboration, transparency, and strong stakeholder engagement.
Drive continuous improvement and digital supply chain initiatives, leveraging ERP systems, planning tools (e.g., OMP), and analytics.
Ensure effective stakeholder communication and alignment, building strong relationships with commercial and regional teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 10+ years of end-to-end supply chain experience, including experience in complex and matrixed environments.
Proven experience leading supply chain operations at country or regional level.
Strong expertise in IBP / S&OP processes and enterprise-level decision-making.
Experience in medical device, healthcare, or regulated industries is required.
Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, logistics, inventory management, and customer service.
Strong business and financial acumen, balancing service, cost, growth, and cash objectives.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and transformation programs.
Strong influencing skills with the ability to align stakeholders without direct authority.
Strong collaboration with Quality and Regulatory Affairs functions.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Certifications such as APICS, IBF, PMP, Lean or Six Sigma are a plus.
Willingness to travel (~30%).
