We are searching for the best talent for SPINE SALES SPECIALIST in Chile.

Purpose:

The Spine Sales Specialist is responsible for executing the commercial strategy for the Spine portfolio across Chile. This role requires deep specialization in spine solutions, strong clinical and commercial expertise, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments at a national level.

The position involves ownership of the Spine business, managing key accounts in both public and private sectors, leading high-level negotiations, and driving business growth through strategic planning and indirect leadership across the commercial organization, always ensuring strict adherence to healthcare compliance standards.

You will be responsible for:

  • Own and drive Spine business performance nationwide, achieving sales targets and ensuring sustainable growth across Chile.

  • Develop and execute national commercial strategies for the Spine portfolio, aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.

  • Manage and develop key accounts across public and private healthcare systems, building long-term partnerships with surgeons, KOLs, procurement teams, and hospital leadership.

  • Lead complex negotiations, including public tenders and private agreements, ensuring competitive positioning and compliance.

  • Act as the clinical and commercial expert in Spine, providing product support, education, and in-theater assistance when required.

  • Identify and unlock business opportunities, leveraging deep understanding of customer needs and healthcare system dynamics.

  • Drive indirect leadership across the commercial team, influencing sales representatives, marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure aligned execution.

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance) to optimize business outcomes.

  • Act as a role model for compliant behavior, promoting a culture of integrity and accountability in all commercial activities.

  • Monitor market trends, competition, and regulatory environment, proactively identifying risks and growth opportunities in the Spine segment.

  • Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting, maintaining strong execution discipline.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education:

  • Completed university degree required (preferably in healthcare, engineering, business, or related fields).

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device sales.

  • Proven and solid experience in Spine (mandatory).

  • Strong experience managing national or large-scale territories.

  • Experience handling both public and private healthcare systems, including tender processes.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of spinal surgery environment and products

  • Strong customer management and relationship-building skills

  • High-level negotiation capabilities

  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen

  • Results-oriented with excellence in execution

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

Leadership:

  • Proven ability to lead through influence (indirect leadership) across cross-functional and commercial teams.

Language:

  • English: Intermediate to Advanced (desirable)

Travel:

  • High availability to travel nationwide (Chile)

Location:

  • Santiago, Chile (with national scope)
