We are searching for the best talent for the Regional Medical Affairs Manager Immunology LATAM to be in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, or Argentina

Purpose: The Regional Medical Manager – Immunology is responsible for shaping and executing the regional medical strategy for prioritized pipeline assets across Latin America, ensuring alignment with global strategy and local needs across the product lifecycle.

This role plays a key part in evidence generation, scientific leadership, and cross-functional integration, supporting best-in-class pre-launch and launch readiness for the Immunology portfolio in LATAM.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Co-leads the development and execution of the regional Medical Affairs strategy for pipeline assets, ensuring alignment with global strategy and adaptation to LATAM needs.

  • Drives pre-launch medical planning, including disease area strategy, scientific narrative, and evidence gap identification.

  • Supports lifecycle planning from early-stage pipeline through launch and in-market phases.

  • Contributes to the design and execution of regional evidence generation plans, including clinical studies, Real World Evidence (RWE), and Phase IV initiatives.

  • Acts as study responsible physician (when applicable), in alignment with MAO and GCO processes.

  • Identifies regional evidence gaps and provides input into global evidence strategies.

  • Acts as a key interface between Global Medical Affairs and LATAM, ensuring: Cascade of global strategy into the region Incorporation of LATAM insights into global plans

  • Supports the development of worldwide medical strategies (WWMAS) with LATAM perspective.

  • Works in close partnership with Immunology IBVT, contributing to brand and business strategy.

  • Ensures strong alignment with: Medical Affairs teams (regional & local) Access, Commercial, Regulatory, PV, Scientific Affairs

  • Drives integrated planning for launch readiness and execution.

  • Provides scientific leadership across priority therapeutic areas, acting as regional medical expert.

  • Engages with key external stakeholders (KOLs, societies, investigators) to: Shape the scientific environment Gather insights to inform strategy

  • Leads or supports pre-launch readiness activities, including: Scientific communication strategy Advisory boards Medical education frameworks

  • Ensures readiness of: Evidence packages Scientific narratives Stakeholder engagement plans

  • Translates field, scientific, and market insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Supports data-driven medical decision making, strengthening the use of analytics and dashboards in Medical Affairs.

  • Ensures strict adherence to: Medical governance Compliance frameworks Ethical standards

  • Contributes to maintaining high standards of scientific integrity and patient focus.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent).

  • Strong scientific background in Immunology is highly desired

  • Solid knowledge of the drug development process, including: Clinical trials RWE Phase IV Publications planning

  • Relevant experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience working across pipeline and pre-launch environments.

  • Proven ability to: Work in matrix organizations Influence cross-functional stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.

  • Strategic thinking with ability to connect science → strategy → execution.

  • Understanding of healthcare systems and regional market dynamics.

  • High adaptability, agility, and ability to operate in complex environments.

  • Strong alignment with Johnson & Johnson Credo values.
