Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent to join our team as the Director, Public Affairs – North America. This role can be located in our Titusville, NJ or Washington, DC office on a hybrid basis.

The Director leads the execution of integrated public affairs campaigns that shape the external policy and stakeholder environment. This is a hands-on, execution-focused leadership role responsible for translating strategy into action—delivering measurable campaigns, building scalable processes, and embedding AI-enabled workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve speed, consistency, and impact across North America.

They will operate at the center of campaign delivery, partnering cross-functionally to ensure alignment and execution against enterprise and market priorities.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Campaign Execution Leadership (35–40%)

  • Lead end-to-end execution of integrated public affairs campaigns aligned to business and policy priorities

  • Translate strategy into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables

  • Drive coordinated activation across earned, digital, and stakeholder engagement channels

  • Ensure campaigns are data-driven and measurable

2. AI-Enabled Process & SOP Development (20%)

  • Design and implement AI-enabled workflows to improve campaign planning, content development, and reporting

  • Develop and scale SOPs for campaign execution, issue management, and rapid response

  • Partner with cross-functional and technical teams to operationalize AI tools and capabilities

3. Cross-Functional Execution & Orchestration (15%)

  • Coordinate across Communications, Government Affairs & Policy, Market Access, Patient Advocacy, and Commercial teams

  • Ensure clarity on roles, timelines, and deliverables to enable seamless execution

  • Serve as a key connector between strategy and execution

4. Content Development & Narrative Activation (10%)

  • Oversee development of policy-focused content (briefs, messaging, digital, executive materials)

  • Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across platforms and partners

5. Measurement & Performance Management (10%)

  • Establish campaign metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks

  • Track performance and optimize campaigns based on data and insights

6. External Engagement Support (5%)

  • Support execution of stakeholder engagement strategies targeting policymakers, advocacy groups, and influencers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (Public Policy, Communications, Political Science, or related field)

  • 10+ years of experience in public affairs, policy communications, government affairs, or related field

  • Demonstrated experience driving integrated campaigns in complex environments

  • Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare policy and stakeholder landscape preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven ability to translate strategy into high-quality execution and measurable outcomes

  • Experience using AI, automation, or digital tools to improve workflows and outputs

  • Strong project management and operational rigor

  • Ability to build and scale SOPs, playbooks, and governance models

  • Excellent partner management and ability to lead through influence

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, biopharmaceuticals, or highly regulated industries

  • Experience working on policy-focused or issue-based campaigns

  • Familiarity with generative AI tools, data governance, and communications technology platforms

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$150,000.00 - $258,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
