The GFS (Global Financial Service) organization provides a variety of transactional and accounting services to J&J Operating Companies around the world, operating out of major centers. Their goal is to do this in a highly cost-effective and compliant way, leveraging our resources in a cross-sector environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Revenue Accounting Team
- Accountable for organizing, maintaining, and directing all Revenue accounting activities and functions.
- Performs supervisory duties including hiring, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, etc
- Ensures accuracy and adherence of corporate policies relate to Revenue process such a Revenue Recognition, General Reserves, Specific Reserves, etc.
- Monitors and facilitates month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
- Summarizes data for accounting analysis related to gross profit.
- Suggests changes in and additions to accounting practices and procedures. Implements such changes where applicable.
- Support Internal and external Audits.
- Lead and engage team to develop Continuous Improvement Mindset
- Lead global/local projects according to company's strategy.
- Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and has experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
Education:
- Education level required: Accounting, Economist or Finance.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Knowledge of Revenue recognition procedures.
- Knowledge of general accounting processes, SAP knowledge and working experience.
- Skills on performance and development of teams.
- IFRS or USGAAP knowledge.
- You should have at least 6 years of experience relate to accounting.
- Required skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel, interpersonal skills, understanding of accounting principles and practices, compliance knowledge (SOX and internal controls), knowledge on other systems such as Blackline, SAP modules and others.
