Job Description:

DePuy Synthes, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst- Supply Chain to provide financial leadership to the DePuy Synthes Manufacturing business located in Raynham MA. In this role, the candidate will provide financial support to the local supply chain MFG organization.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

The primary scope of the Senior Financial Analyst role is to serve as the standard costing specialist for our US Orthopedics platforms. The candidate will provide financial insights that will help drive business objectives and keep finance leadership informed of impacts resulting from standard costing. In addition to standard costing, this role will be the finance lead supporting the Raynham & Bridgewater, providing the team guidance and business support.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and coordinate the monthly financial close process for the local ledger. Ensure that sub ledgers are updated to general ledger accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and submit standard monthly management reports. Perform detailed monthly variance analysis on items in the P+L and balance sheet.
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures to ensure that all required journal entries are prepared and posted to the general ledger.

· Provide strong financial leadership and business partner support to DePuy Synthes supply chain finance, and category teams

· Forecast, track, and analyze MFG related projects, capital investment requirements, market based inflation drivers, and functional cost

  • Manage the annual and ad-hoc standard cost process for the Orthopedics franchise

· Execute the cost simulation and final execution of annual standard costing

  • Maintain and be able to analyze actual vs standard manufacturing variances
  • Identify continuous improvements, partner with peers to develop future state process improvements.
  • Support and coordinate financial compliance efforts, including internal & external audit requirements
  • Assist in managing Bridgewater Make facility organization as well as other miscellaneous non-plant related activities
  • Support the RY & BW Orthopedics MFG Value Stream, providing financial metric insights and ad-hoc requests to Supply Chain Leadership
  • Own Standard Operating Procedures and process flow charts, update periodically as changes in the processes evolve
  • Support other ad-hoc projects and analysis requests for Orthopedics Supply Chain

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • A CPA, MBA, CMA, or other financial certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of finance experience is required; equivalent knowledge of skills necessary to perform the position responsibilities preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required.
  • Have a collaborative style and be able to work effectively in a matrix organization across functional groups is required.
  • The ability to work independently and effectively interface with various levels of management is required.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Anaplan and/or similar financial systems preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • This position will be located in Raynham MA and may require up to 10% of travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79,000.00 - $127,650.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
