DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Transportation & Temp Control - LATAM, located in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil or Bogota, Colombia or Mexico City, Mexico or Las Condes, Chile.
The Transportation & Temp Control - LATAM supports the execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Commercial Quality System Support (CQSS) activities across the Latin America region within QARA International. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with global and regional quality system requirements, supporting audit readiness, and partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to maintain high standards of product quality and patient safety. The position offers strong exposure to regional and global quality systems and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the DePuy Synthes portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Support day‑to‑day CQSS activities across LATAM, including documentation, tracking, and follow‑up of quality system actions and deliverables.
Prepare, review, and maintain quality system documentation (e.g., SOPs, work instructions, records) in alignment with global standards and regional requirements.
Support internal audits, health authority inspections, and quality system reviews, including preparation of evidence and follow‑up of corrective actions.
Collect, analyze, and trend quality system data and metrics to support continuous improvement and management review activities.
Assist with investigation, escalation, and remediation of quality system and compliance issues under guidance from senior quality staff.
Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Operations, and other cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with quality system and compliance requirements.
Apply DePuy Synthes and Johnson & Johnson quality principles, Credo values, and compliance expectations in all CQSS activities.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required in Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, or a related discipline.
Advanced degree or quality‑related training preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required
Generally requires 0–2 years of relevant experience in quality systems, commercial quality, regulatory, or a related regulated environment, aligned to a developing professional‑level role.
Foundational knowledge of quality systems, documentation practices, and compliance requirements.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and maintain accurate quality system documentation.
Ability to analyze basic data and support quality system metrics and trend reporting.
Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional, regional, and international environment.
Preferred
Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
Familiarity with global quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, GxP).
Exposure to audit or inspection readiness activities.
Experience using electronic quality management systems or document management tools.
Experience supporting regional or multi‑country quality initiatives.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Other
Languages: Portuguese required; English proficiency preferred for regional and global collaboration.
Travel: Limited regional travel across LATAM may be required (generally <15%).
Certifications: Quality‑related certifications (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, CQE) preferred but not required.
