Purpose of the role


We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Executive Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team specialising in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our innovative pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals within these therapeutic areas, building positive relationships, and achieving sales targets.

What to expect:

You will:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for targeted customers in the IBD sector.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL’s), and healthcare professionals in the IBD field.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives for assigned accounts.

  • Conduct product presentations and therapeutic area discussions to healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and up-to date information is conveyed.

  • Collaborate with both internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation.

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer need to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to healthcare professionals in handling product inquires.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics in the CRM system.

Who will you be working with:

Reporting into the Regional Business Manager, you will work closely with the following people:

· Account Manager colleagues.

· Customer Pathway Managers (CPM’s)

· Medical Science Liaison (MSL’s)

· Marketing

· Healthcare compliance

Who are we looking for?

  • To excel in this role, you will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and who excels in both independent and collaborative team environments.

  • Equally if you are a self starting individual, motivated, driven and with a growth mindset, previous pharmaceutical experience is not a prerequisite.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, NHS, Pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in IBD preferred.

  • ABPI qualification not a prerequisite, support will be given to achieve this qualification in role

  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulations, compliance, and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage collaborators.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet client needs and attend industry events.

Office Location:
