Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Manager, Sourcing, located in Bogotá Distrito Capital, Colombia.

The Manager, Sourcing plays a key role in ensuring the organization secures high‑quality materials and services at optimal value while managing supply risk. This position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to implement sourcing strategies, build strong supplier relationships, and drive performance improvements across the supply base. This is an exciting opportunity to influence procurement strategy, support business continuity, and contribute to delivering innovative healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and support strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and service levels across assigned categories

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and align procurement strategies accordingly

• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure value and compliance with organizational standards

• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas

• Lead or coordinate supplier evaluations, including quality, risk, and financial assessments

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within sourcing processes, including cost reduction and efficiency gains

• Support the development of sourcing strategies using market intelligence, demand planning, and total cost of ownership analysis

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment in supplier integration plans and sourcing execution

• Ensure accurate maintenance of procurement and supplier data within enterprise systems

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required

• MBA or advanced degree preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• Minimum of 6–8 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and sourcing trends
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of procurement processes, systems, and compliance requirements

Preferred:

• Experience in the healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industry environments
• Familiarity with strategic sourcing methodologies and category management practices
• Experience using procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba)
• Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and process improvements
• Experience working in global or regional sourcing environments
• Exposure to supplier risk management and sustainability practices

Other:

• English and Spanish language proficiency required
• Travel ~ 10%
• Relevant procurement or supply chain certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) preferred
