We are searching for the best talent for Strategy & Operations Lead to be in Panamá City, Panamá.

Purpose:

The S&O Lead serves as a strategic partner to the CENCA Board ensuring the successful execution, governance, and continuity of the cluster's priority initiatives. The role is responsible for driving cross-functional projects, monitoring progress against strategic objectives, providing executive-level updates, and ensuring accountability across stakeholders.

Additionally, this position leads initiatives focused on Sales Force Effectiveness, identifying opportunities to optimize sales reporting, incentive compensation processes, and performance analytics. The role generates actionable insights by connecting commercial performance, incentive outcomes, and recognition programs to support data-driven decision-making and business growth.

You will be responsible for:

CENCA Board Governance & Strategic Project Leadership

  • Act as Chief of Staff to the CENCA Leadership Team and Board, coordinating strategic priorities and ensuring alignment across functions.
  • Lead and manage Board-sponsored strategic initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Establish governance mechanisms, project tracking tools, and executive reporting processes to monitor progress and risks.
  • Drive accountability across project owners and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of commitments.
  • Prepare executive presentations, business reviews, and Board updates highlighting project status, key milestones, risks, and outcomes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among Commercial, Market Access, Finance, S&O, People, Compliance, and other business functions.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with clear ownership, timelines, and success measures.

Commercial Excellence & Incentive Optimization

  • Lead initiatives to optimize sales performance reporting and incentive compensation processes.
  • Identify and implement synergies between sales data sources, business intelligence tools, and incentive calculation methodologies.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations, Finance, and HR stakeholders to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of incentive programs.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that integrate sales performance, incentives, and recognition metrics.
  • Analyze relationships between business results, incentive achievement, and employee recognition programs to generate actionable insights.
  • Recommend improvements to incentive designs, KPI measurement, reporting automation, and performance tracking.
  • Drive standardization and simplification of reporting processes across CENCA markets.
  • Support leadership decision-making through advanced analytics and business performance insights.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and functional partners across the organization.
  • Influence without authority and align multiple stakeholders toward common objectives.
  • Present recommendations, business cases, and results to leadership audiences.
  • Communicate complex information in a concise and executive-friendly manner.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Strategy, Operations, Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics, Project Management, Consulting, or related areas.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Experience working with executive leadership teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance management, incentive compensation processes, and business analytics.
  • Experience in healthcare industry: pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer health is required.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities.
  • At least intermediate English level
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
  • Experience with incentive compensation methodologies and sales reporting processes.
  • Executive presentation development (PowerPoint).
  • Project management and governance frameworks.
