Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Transcend: Senior Manager, Business Transformation Process Integration! This position will be located (onsite/hybrid) in Zug, Switzerland. Alternate onsite/hybrid locations may be considered at other Innovative Medicine EMEA Supply Chain hub sites such as Beerse, Belgium; Cork, Ireland; or Latina, Italy.

Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

The Senior Manager will be accountable for working with a team of functional experts in driving the process and capability integration between supply chain (SC) functions to ensure that solutions support end to end business processes and requirements while maintaining the integrity and reliability of the ERP template. The leader will be responsible for the process integration for a specific deployment, as well as strive to maximize the adherence to Global Design Template. They will apply a refined, multi-functional toolset of business expertise, technical knowledge, and digital acumen, and engage and operate with program teams at an execution level, as well as with senior leadership at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end business process mapping, scenario/use case definition, integration, and design adherence across the impacted functions.

  • Support development, maintenance, and adherence to ERP Global Template as well as the program methodology.

  • Ensure key processes and capabilities are designed, documented, and deployed in an integrated and effective manner within program timelines and scope.

  • Lead the program team in mapping end-to-end business processes/needs in order to solicit the right solutions, all the while ensuring that the solutions crafted work in a well-integrated way with the other functions.

  • Lead the Design Authority Meeting and drive identification and mitigation of design risks.

  • Partner with global team of Supply Chain experts in design, development, maintenance, and improvement of global processes and integration points.

  • Establish and implement process design methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence.

  • Run cross-program process design Interdependencies by working with respective partners to implement controls, cadence, and risk mitigations.

  • Ensure planning and execution of business simulation and validation/readiness.

  • Develop and deliver program presentations for senior-level J&J Innovative Medicine (IM) stakeholders to advise on historical and future program status.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s / University, MBA, or equivalent degree is required

  • Certifications such as PMP / FPX, APICS, and/or Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence are helpful

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience

  • Demonstrated progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or large transformation programs

  • Solid experience in business process design, engineering, or optimization experience

  • Hands-on project delivery experience, including demonstrated ability to handle project timelines and milestones in complex business environments

  • Experience working in a complex, global system environment and experience with large-scale SAP ERP project(s)

  • Strong customer-centric focus (internal & external), including development and management of partners and ability to engage and build relationships with senior business stakeholders

  • Ability to effectively lead and govern cross-functional decision-making bodies

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result

Preferred:

  • Experience designing, developing, implementing, and leading operational technological processes within a global organization

  • Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or other regulated industry experience

  • People management and development experience (direct or indirect reports)

Other:

  • Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally

  • May require up to 25% to 50% domestic and international travel, depending on business needs and primary work location

  • Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00
