Job Summary

Neurovascular is a key growth driver within Johnson & Johnson MedTech, operating in a fast‑growing and rapidly evolving interventional neuroradiology marketplace. We have deep customer relationships, a strong current portfolio, and a robust innovation pipeline.

As Business Lead for Germany & Austria (DEA), you will be the visible leader of the Neurovascular business, responsible for driving commercial performance in one of the largest Neurovascular markets in EMEA. You will shape strategic direction, lead operational excellence initiatives, and deliver market share, revenue, and profitability growth.

You will be a member of the EMEA Leadership Team, working closely with your regional peers to achieve shared business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Sustainable Revenue, Profitability and Market Share Growth
    • Achieve sales, market share, pricing, and profitability targets across the DEA Neurovascular portfolio.
    • Drive portfolio growth through share gain, technology adoption, account conversion, and market expansion strategies.
    • Optimize pricing and commercial performance to maximize both top- and bottom-line results.
  • Develop and Execute the DEA Neurovascular Business Strategy
    • Create and implement annual and long-range business plans aligned with EMEA strategy.
    • Lead forecasting, demand planning, financial planning, and portfolio optimization activities.
    • Use market, clinical, competitive, and performance data to shape strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Build and Lead a High-Performing Commercial Organization
    • Lead, coach, and develop sales and marketing teams to achieve exceptional customer and business outcomes.
    • Strengthen selling capabilities, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous development.
  • Strengthen Customer, KOL and External Stakeholder Partnerships
    • Build strategic relationships with key customers, healthcare stakeholders, and leading Neurovascular KOLs.
    • Develop strong engagement with stroke centers, neuroradiology leaders, and clinical networks to influence adoption and shape market opportunities.
    • Represent the organization at key scientific congresses, advisory boards, and industry forums.
  • Lead Cross-Functional and Regional Collaboration
    • Partner effectively with EMEA, country leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution.
    • Share best practices and leverage regional expertise to accelerate business performance across DEA markets.
    • Coordinate commercial, marketing, finance, supply chain, and medical affairs activities to deliver business objectives.
  • Ensure Financial Discipline and Operational Excellence
    • Manage P&L performance, forecasting accuracy, pricing governance, and resource allocation.
    • Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions to ensure achievement of financial commitments.
    • Drive operational efficiency, compliance, and disciplined business execution across the region.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in medical device sales and sales management, with a strong track record of delivering sustainable results. Experience in interventional radiology or neurovascular is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, including vision, courage, and the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong marketing capability, including product management experience through life‑cycle management of one or more brands.
  • Inspirational and adaptable leader, capable of driving change and collaborating cross‑functionally.
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to motivate cross‑functional teams and improve organisational processes.
  • Proven ability to lead through change, shape strategy, and influence key stakeholders.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€87.300,00 - €140.530,00

Benefits:

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions. Moreover, we offer vacation days, parental leave for a minimum of 12 weeks, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well-being reimbursement, programs for financial, physical and mental health.
