Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Sales Associate Program – Surgical Vision.

Purpose:

The Sales Associate Program – Surgical Vision is a structured 12-month development programme designed to provide hands-on exposure across Marketing and Commercial Operations within a leading medical technology environment.

Participants will gain practical experience supporting commercial execution, customer engagement, marketing operations, inventory governance, and business analytics while developing the skills required for a future career in MedTech commercial functions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Veeva approval support: assist the Marketing team in preparing, coordinating, submitting, and tracking promotional materials through the required Veeva approval process, ensuring documents are complete and aligned with internal compliance requirements.
  • Marketing tools refresh and utilization tracking: support the review, update, and maintenance of marketing tools, including tracking field utilization, gathering feedback, identifying outdated materials, and coordinating refresh requirements with relevant stakeholders.
  • Events process approvals and support: assist with event-related approval processes, documentation, timelines, logistics coordination, and follow-up actions for internal and external activities, including One Vision where applicable.
  • NPI and promotions tracking: support the tracking of New Product Introduction activities, promotional initiatives, launch timelines, campaign progress, field execution status, and post-activity follow-up.
  • HCP and patient activity event management: assist in planning, coordinating, and supporting HCP and patient-related activities, including agenda coordination, invitee tracking, logistics support, attendance tracking, and post-event documentation.
  • Basic marketing collateral design: support the development of simple marketing materials such as invite cards, event announcements, basic digital assets, and communication materials in alignment with brand and compliance requirements.
  • Consignment management duties: assist the Local Operations Lead in tracking consignment stock, outstanding lenses, replenishment, returns, and LTC turns follow-up.
  • Sales Force tracking: assist the Local Operations Lead in maintaining and updating Sales Force-related operational trackers, including consignment setup status, customer records, opportunity or activity updates, and required documentation follow-up.
  • MOH / SKU bell curve tracking: assist the Local Operations Lead in preparing inventory Months-on-Hand analysis and SKU-level bell curve reviews to identify overstock, understock, demand pattern changes, and order planning risks.
  • SLOB tracking: assist the Local Operations Lead in tracking slow-moving, obsolete, short-dated, and expiring inventory, including preparing summaries for review and following up on action plans with relevant stakeholders.
  • Bundle and placement tracking: assist the Local Operations Lead in maintaining tracking of bundle deals, equipment placements, placement commitments, related documentation, and follow-up actions to ensure visibility and governance.
  • Operational reporting and data follow-up: assist the Local Operations Lead in consolidating reports, updating dashboards, validating data, flagging gaps, and following up on issues with relevant stakeholders.
  • Process improvement support: assist the Local Operations Lead in identifying repetitive manual tasks, reporting gaps, or process inefficiencies, and propose practical improvement ideas using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, or workflow tools where appropriate.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline
  • Strong interest in pursuing a commercial career within the healthcare, medical device, or life sciences industry
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder requests effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage documentation, trackers, approvals, and data accurately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, Canva, or similar tools is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality work
