Purpose:

The Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) is responsible for driving the adoption and growth of the Electrophysiology (EP) portfolio across Croatia through expert clinical support, customer engagement, education, and business development activities.

The role partners with physicians, hospital stakeholders, and internal teams to improve patient outcomes, accelerate technology adoption, identify growth opportunities, and deliver sustainable business results while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence

  • Provide expert clinical support during EP procedures and ensure safe, effective use of company technologies.
  • Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of EP therapies, cardiac arrhythmias, clinical workflows, and competitive solutions.
  • Troubleshoot products and procedures in real-time clinical settings.
  • Deliver high-quality training and education programs for physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.
  • Adapt clinical and technical discussions to different customer audiences to maximize understanding and utilization.
  • Identify unmet clinical needs and collaborate with customers and internal partners to develop appropriate solutions.

Business Development & Customer Engagement

  • Achieve territory sales objectives and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Build trusted relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders across assigned accounts.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities, market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs.
  • Use clinical evidence, data, and insights to support customer decision-making and advance adoption of innovative solutions.
  • Lead and support product launches, technology upgrades, and therapy expansion initiatives.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and tender responses while ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Participate in scientific meetings, congresses, and industry events to strengthen market knowledge and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with account teams to develop and execute account plans that drive long-term customer value.

Business Operations

  • Manage territory activities with a high level of ownership, planning, and execution.
  • Ensure timely completion of forecasts, business reports, expense reporting, and administrative requirements.
  • Adhere to company processes related to pricing, public procurement, inventory, consignment, and customer service.
  • Ensure quality complaints and product issues are managed according to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Manage company resources responsibly and efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • University degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Sciences, Life Sciences, Technical Sciences, or related field.

Experience & Skills

  • Strong clinical aptitude and interest in Electrophysiology and cardiovascular therapies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical information into meaningful customer value.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize priorities, manage projects, and execute with discipline.
  • Customer-focused mindset with ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs.

  • Fluent in Croatian and English (written and spoken).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€31,000.00 - €50,485.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
