Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Senior Product Manager within the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) IMT team. This position will be located in Raritan, NJ.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will help shape the future of digital products that enable Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine's Global Commercial Strategy Organization. Partnering closely with business and technology leaders, you will define technical product strategy, lead cross-functional delivery, and drive adoption of solutions that improve decision-making, accelerate commercial execution, and create measurable business value.

This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and innovation. You will own a portfolio of GCSO products spanning commercial strategy, marketing, competitive intelligence, and data-driven decision support. The portfolio may include AI-enabled capabilities, data products, workflow applications, and other digital solutions that support global commercial priorities.

Success in this role requires balancing long-term product vision with disciplined execution—working across a highly matrixed organization to prioritize investments, align diverse stakeholders, evaluate emerging technologies, and deliver scalable products that meet the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management for a portfolio of GCSO products from concept through deployment, adoption, and continuous enhancement.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define product vision, prioritize investments, and translate strategic objectives into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Lead product discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, and delivery using user-centered design principles and agile product management practices.
  • Drive the evaluation, design, and implementation of AI-enabled capabilities, data products, automation solutions, and other innovative technologies where they create measurable business value.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Global Commercial Strategy, Analytics, Data Science, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to deliver products that improve commercial effectiveness, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
  • Own relationships with external technology and data partners, including product evaluations, proof-of-concepts, vendor selection, contract planning, delivery oversight, and ongoing performance management.
  • Define product success metrics, monitor adoption and business outcomes, and continuously optimize products based on user feedback, data, and evolving business priorities.
  • Lead governance activities for assigned products, including roadmap reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, executive updates, stakeholder communications, and portfolio planning.
  • Partner with Information Security Risk Management (ISRM), Privacy, Quality, Legal, Procurement, and Compliance to ensure products meet enterprise standards for security, governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage product budgets, vendor investments, and financial planning activities to maximize business value and support strategic investment decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, aligning business, technology, and vendor partners around shared product goals and successful delivery.
  • Coach and develop a Senior Analyst, providing mentorship, growth opportunities, and product management guidance while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Business, or another related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Digital, Technology, Data, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex technology products through the full product lifecycle, from strategy and roadmap development through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into product vision, prioritize competing demands, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong experience partnering across business and technology organizations and influencing stakeholders within a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience developing business cases, defining product success metrics, and communicating product strategy to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience managing external vendors and technology partners, including evaluation, contracting, delivery oversight, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Passion for customer-centric product development, continuous learning, and delivering impactful business solutions.

Preferred

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience delivering AI-enabled, data-driven, or advanced analytics products.
  • Familiarity with generative AI, AI agents, machine learning applications, or modern data products.
  • Experience evaluating emerging technologies and leading proof-of-concepts through production deployment.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI principles, data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience supporting commercial strategy, marketing, competitive intelligence, analytics, or customer engagement capabilities.
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms, APIs, modern data architectures, or workflow automation technologies.
  • Experience managing or mentoring product management or technology professionals.
