We are searching for the best talent for Senior Analyst, R&D Central Master Data

Purpose: The Senior Analyst, R&D Central Master Data, is responsible for the creation, maintenance, governance, and quality oversight of clinical finished goods master data in SAP S/4HANA and associated clinical supply planning systems.

This role partners closely with Clinical Supply Chain, Trial Supply Leads, End-to-End Supply Planners, Supply Network Planners, Clinical Operations, Quality and other stakeholders to ensure master data accurately supports clinical trial planning, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, and forecasting activities.

The individual will act as a subject matter expert for clinical supply master data processes, provide technical support for related systems, drive data quality and compliance, develop reporting and analytics, and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead the creation, maintenance, validation, and governance of clinical finished goods master data in SAP S/4HANA and related planning systems.
  • Ensure master data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with established business processes, data standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Define, maintain, and continuously improve master data governance processes, procedures, standards, and controls.
  • Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Super User for SAP S/4HANA master data supporting clinical supply operations.
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and issue resolution related to SAP S/4HANA master data and supply planning processes.
  • Support the development, testing, and implementation of new master data requirements, system enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Partner with business and IT teams to evaluate, design, and implement system changes impacting master data processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand clinical trial requirements and translate business needs into scalable master data and system solutions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of clinical supply chain processes, trial design considerations, and planning system functionality to provide effective recommendations and support.
  • Support user access management and system administration activities within clinical supply planning systems.
  • Monitor data quality metrics, process compliance, and milestone completion, and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead training initiatives, develop and maintain training materials, and drive adoption of SAP S/4HANA master data processes and best practices.
  • Mentor team members provide technical coaching, and support onboarding and capability development for new team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on master data governance, data quality, process simplification, operational efficiency, and system adoption.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, quality, compliance, and company policies and standards.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in clinical supply chain, supply chain operations, clinical operations, master data management, or related business functions.
  • Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, including Material Master and other supply chain master data concepts.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, data migration projects, or system deployments.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality management, data stewardship, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks and master data management best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work in a complex, global, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis, reporting, and data validation activities.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€72,500.00 - €115,230.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
