About the Role

We’re hiring a hands-on Full Stack Engineer Lead to serve as a senior technical leader across multiple product teams and strategic initiatives. This role combines deep software engineering expertise with architecture guidance, AI-enabled engineering practices, DevSecOps excellence, and engineering governance.

You will help shape technical direction, promote reusable engineering patterns, accelerate AI adoption, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and operationally sustainable. While this is an individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities, you will influence engineers across squads and act as a trusted technical advisor to Product, Security, Data, Platform, and Engineering leadership teams.

What You'll Do

Hands-on Engineering & Solution Design (≈40%)

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade applications across UI, API, integration, data, and automation layers using React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, SQL, and NoSQL technologies.
  • Build and integrate AI-enabled capabilities, including LLMs, agents, retrieval systems, prompt orchestration, and workflow automation.
  • Create reusable frameworks, accelerators, templates, SDKs, and engineering patterns that can be adopted across multiple squads.
  • Define APIs, integration contracts, non-functional requirements, and operational readiness requirements.
  • Contribute to complex architecture decisions and technical solution reviews.

Technical Leadership & Architecture (≈25%)

  • Act as technical lead across multiple initiatives, helping teams align with enterprise architecture standards and engineering best practices.
  • Drive architecture discussions, design reviews, technical debt reduction, modernization initiatives, and platform evolution efforts.
  • Partner with architects, product managers, security teams, and engineering managers to establish scalable and reusable solution approaches.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization, automation, AI adoption, and engineering efficiency improvements.

AI-Enabled Engineering & Innovation (≈15%)

  • Champion the adoption of AI-assisted software development practices throughout the SDLC.
  • Guide teams in leveraging AI tools for requirements quality, testing, code generation, documentation, and engineering productivity.
  • Evaluate emerging AI frameworks, agentic architectures, and engineering automation opportunities.
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of enterprise AI-enabled engineering accelerators.

Quality, Security & DevSecOps (≈10%)

  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Drive implementation of secure-by-design and shift-left quality practices.
  • Support CI/CD maturity, automated testing, observability, vulnerability remediation, and release readiness practices.
  • Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, technical standards, and architecture guardrails.

Engineering Enablement & Mentorship (≈10%)

  • Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through technical coaching, design reviews, pair programming, and architecture guidance.
  • Support onboarding activities and technical enablement initiatives.
  • Contribute to engineering communities of practice, technical training sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums.
  • Help elevate engineering capabilities across the broader organization.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including experience leading technical initiatives or acting as a senior technical lead.
  • Strong full-stack development experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, REST APIs, GraphQL, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience designing distributed, cloud-native solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
  • Strong DevOps and CI/CD experience using GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
  • Experience implementing observability, monitoring, logging, and operational support practices.
  • Practical experience integrating LLMs, AI agents, and external enterprise services into applications.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, security, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, AKS, or container orchestration platforms.
  • Experience implementing AI/ML operationalization, model evaluation, monitoring, and governance.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture reviews and technical governance processes.
  • Experience in regulated environments and compliance-driven software delivery.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, or Selenium.
  • Experience with engineering productivity platforms and developer experience initiatives.
  • Experience with low-code and workflow automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power Platform, Appian, Mendix, or similar enterprise low-code solutions.
  • Experience developing integrations between low-code platforms and enterprise APIs, cloud services, or AI capabilities.

How You'll Succeed

  • Influence technical direction beyond a single squad and promote adoption of reusable engineering practices.
  • Deliver high-quality, secure, scalable solutions that balance speed, cost, maintainability, and compliance.
  • Accelerate engineering productivity through automation, AI enablement, and standardization.
  • Enable teams through mentorship, coaching, and technical leadership.
