Overview
Janssen Pharmaceutica, a part of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting an External Planning Co-op to join the Janssen Supply Chain team located in Titusville, NJ.
As an integral member of the Janssen Supply Planning team, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that our patients and doctors are getting the medicines they need when they need them.
This position is intended to work in parallel with student’s academic training. The role will expose the Co-Op to business planning principals that follow standard supply chain practices used in the pharmaceutical industry.
The start date for this position will be early December, 2026.
Responsibilities include:
· Host and lead weekly global criticalities review meetings
· Invoice Resolution for on time supplier payment
· Updating and aligning data in various dashboards for Senior Leaders
· Support planning team with ad hoc requests related to data and issue management
· Scope and lead a project from planning through implementation
· Support short-term planning activities for the assigned brand within EM.
· Support the end-to-end Order management process, including placing new purchase orders, order adjustments, order consumptions, virtual receipts, and depletion of inventory.
· Assist EM Planner with brand Downstream Coverage Report to identify and escalate potential product vulnerabilities to cross-functional business partners
· Be empowered to design and implement improvements to new and existing processes that will benefit the EM planning team and broader organizations
· Become a knowledgeable in multiple ERP systems, such as SAP and OMP.
· Utilize ERP systems and excel to execute and analyze critical reports for multiple Supply Chain teams.
· Have the chance to scope and lead a project from planning through implementation.
Qualifications
Education:
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
• Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. Preferred sophomore or junior
• Available to work full time. Classes will be taken during evenings or weekends only.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office is required including the ability to present project work in Microsoft Power Point
• Excellent written/oral communication and strong organization skills required
• Self-starter, ability to eventually work under minimal supervision
• Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets in Excel is a plus
• Detail-oriented and possess strong analytical and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability thrive in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong organization skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite
Preferred:
• Previous intern or co-op experience
• Experience with ERP systems
• Prior completion of ‘Intro to Supply Chain’ related course

The expected pay range for this position is between $23.50 per hour and $52.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
