Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Analyst Payroll.

An internal pre-identified candidate for consideration has been identified. However, all applications will be considered.

The position will be part of the Capability center in Bogota. The Analyst role should have strong HR or Finance operation experience focused on high level of timeliness, accuracy, and compliance. As an Analyst, you are responsible in consistently delivering assigned tasks and responsibilities for Time & Attendances CR Process. This role will also be responsible for review, validation and analysis of results and reports. You will also facilitate and have tactical responsibilities in the areas of Incident and Change management, Continuous Improvement initiatives, project deliverables and system upgrades. You will follow J&J Global Services tools, procedures, and guidelines in discharge of your day-to-day duties. Strong collaboration, adaptability and time-management are critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities

· Absence Management: Record and validate vacations, medical leaves, maternity/paternity leaves, and special leave requests.

· Timekeeping Audit: Monitor and correct missed punches, manual entries, and inconsistencies in timekeeping systems.

· Overtime Calculation: Review and validate overtime hours, night shift premiums, and rotating shifts in accordance with internal policies.

· Employee Support: Address employee and manager inquiries regarding time balances and attendance policies.

· Vendor Management: Serve as the primary liaison with time and attendance system providers (ADP Workforce Manager).

· Reporting and Analytics: Generate data analyses on absenteeism trends, vacation usage, and accrued hours to support decision-making.

· Strong experience in Labor legislation for Costa Rica

· Supports multi-country payroll to have an effective operational model in compliance with company policies as well as statutory and legal requirements.

· Specific knowledge in Global View (GV) and Workforce Manager (WFM) Systems. *Essential Skills.

· Execution of tasks and assigned deliverables for project activities initiated, Global Services and non-payroll entities (HR, Finance etc).

· Conducts assigned tasks pertaining to User Acceptance Testing and verification of system changes.

· Ability to perform reporting and reconciliation.

· Executes, in accordance with globally established standards, processes for SOX compliance, internal controls, and required regulatory/statutory requirements (including payroll record data maintenance).

· Maintains a high degree of confidentiality, data protection assurance, conformity with J&J policies, procedures, external regulations, and agencies.

· Updates and maintain payroll process and administration documentation.

· Identifies and raises continuous improvement and automation opportunities.

· Supports cross-functional projects with payroll dependency.

· Supports and resolves payroll related inquiries.
. Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and has experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity.
