Job Description:

  • In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
  • Ownership of site digital transformation strategy, long term roadmap and drive agile project management mechanism through site initiatives and resources. Ownership of technical systems/platforms lifecycle: requirements elicitation, functional design/configuration, automated testing/validation, cutover and go live, stabilization and continuous iteration.
  • Define and drive the site digital and operational excellence mid to long term roadmap (including MES, ERP/scheduling, data and AI use cases), aligned with Engineering and the enterprise digital strategy.
  • Establish a site level digital governance framework (requirements governance, release governance, data quality, change control, audit trail and responsible AI principles), define KPIs and oversee value realization.
  • Lead integration between systems, measurement/inspection equipment and other systems to ensure end to end data consistency, traceability and electronic record compliance.
  • Establish and oversee the site’s MES and digital systems operational governance and support capability; lead cross functional response and recovery for high severity incidents, and drive continuous improvement using metrics such as system availability and stakeholder satisfaction to ensure production continuity and integrity of audit trails.
  • Manage site Master Data accuracy and integration, improve data quality and build up data analysis capability and establish process data analysis framework.
  • Regularly identify and prioritize high value digital and automation use cases in production, develop business cases and drive investment decisions; ensure initiatives are outcome driven with clear metrics tied to quality, cost, delivery and efficiency, and be accountable for delivery outcomes.
  • Promote and scale Lean tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S, standard work, visual management, TPM, etc.) on the shop floor, enhancing Lean execution through digital means and embedding improvements into systems and processes.
  • Support production exception analysis and problem resolution, driving root cause analysis and closed loop corrective actions (e.g., deviations, NCs).
  • Work closely with Quality, Regulatory and Validation teams to ensure systems and processes comply with applicable requirements such as GMP and ISO 13485; support quality audits, internal and external inspections, and drive remediation and continuous improvement (OBS).
  • Regularly report KPIs, delivery progress and key risks to the Engineering Leader and site management.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
