We are searching for the best talent for Global Planning Co-Op to be in Gurabo, PR.

  • The Intern / Co-op term is from January to December, 2027.
  • Full time requirement (40 hours per week).

Purpose:

The Global Planning Supply Chain and Process Improvement (COOP) is responsible for managing improvements in Global Planning using best practices and methodologies. This includes the execution of continuous improvement projects through the use of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma and supply planning tools. Also, will support the Global Planning department by generating reports from the systems and other transactional / documentation activities to support site shipments.

You will be responsible:

Support the organization in any initiative to improve processes through JJPS, Lean Manufacturing, and other BEx methods. Engage people in Kaizen events, trainings, improvement ideas generation, among others. Supports the Global Planning department by generating reports from the systems as needed, along with other transactional and documentation activities to support site shipments. Additionally, this role involves supporting capacity analysis, MDA documentation, master data revision, project management, materials readiness activities, scheduling optimization, and event process/window reviews, among other tasks as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Enginner, Data Science,material managment, or related fields.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 4.2 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Engineering student in at least the fourth year of college.
  • Previous internship/co-op and/or academic research experience is preferred.
  • Student must be enrolled in an accredited institution during the internship period and the internship assignment should be aligned to the student’s area of study or career interest.
  • Previous work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related fields of research is a plus.
  • Extracurricular experience, such as membership in a student association related to the field, is necessary.
  • May work irregular shifts and extended hours.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Basic Statistical and cost analysis are preferred.

Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
