Role Summary

The Manager, Practice Area Marketing will lead the planning and execution of marketing activities that drive awareness, adoption, and engagement across J&J Learn platforms, programs and priority initiatives. The role translates learning priorities into clear, targeted campaigns and activation materials that help employees discover, access and engage with relevant learning opportunities.

This role manages day-to-day marketing delivery, partners closely with practice area owners and communications teams, and coordinates matrixed contributors to deliver high-quality work aligned with J&J Learn priorities and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing intake and prioritization, clarifying scope, timing, ownership and dependencies to support timely delivery.
  • Develop and execute practice area marketing plans that build awareness, adoption and engagement across J&J Learn platforms, programs and priority initiatives.
  • Translate learning priorities into targeted campaign tactics, including audience messaging, channel plans, launch materials, newsletters, presentations and employee-facing assets.
  • Coordinate launch readiness, ensuring courses, links, landing pages, catalog entries, FAQs and promotional materials are complete and ready before go-live.
  • Manage marketing operations, including campaign calendars, timelines, stakeholder reviews, approvals, translation requests, version control and follow-ups.
  • Maintain campaign playbooks, templates and toolkits that enable consistent execution across practice areas, channels, regions and stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with practice area owners, communications teams and creative resources to ensure materials are clear, on-brand and tailored to the intended audience.
  • Coordinate matrixed contributors and resources, managing handoffs, dependencies, follow-ups and execution standards across workstreams.
  • Track campaign performance and lead retrospectives, using data and stakeholder feedback to strengthen future campaigns and activation approaches.
  • Maintain content and brand consistency across J&J Learn channels, landing pages, communications and activation materials, including environmental branding and on-site activation needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, creative services, learning and development, HR programs or a related field.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing plans, campaigns or communications for enterprise programs, HR initiatives or learning offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn, evaluate, and adopt new AI tools and ways of working to meet evolving business needs.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including managing timelines, stakeholder inputs, review cycles and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, employee-friendly digital communications and presentation materials.
  • Ability to partner effectively with practice area owners, communications teams, creative resources, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience using engagement data, campaign metrics and stakeholder feedback to evaluate performance and recommend improvements.
  • This position is based in Bogotá, Colombia, and follows a hybrid working model.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting learning, talent, HR or enterprise capability-building initiatives.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, content management systems, link-tracking tools or enterprise communication channels.
  • Experience coordinating creative assets, brand templates, campaign toolkits or translated materials across multiple markets or audiences.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed environment and supporting stakeholders across regions, functions and time zones.
