We are searching for the best talent for QC Lab Co-Op to be in Gurabo, PR.
- The Co-op term is from January to December, 2027.
- Full time requirement (40 hours per week).
Purpose:
Join the Quality Control team and support initiatives that improve laboratory operations, materials management, inventory visibility, and data-driven decision making. This co-op offers hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment while working with QC, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze laboratory material usage, inventory, and purchasing data.
- Support development of a standardized QC laboratory purchasing process.
- Assist in creating a site-wide laboratory materials database and baseline inventory.
- Support Reduced Testing Plan initiatives through data collection and analysis.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
- Identify process improvement opportunities using Lean principles.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations for leadership.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or related fields.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory operations, and continuous improvement.
