Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for the position of a Senior Financial Analyst, US Joint Reconstruction Selling. The preferred locations are New Jersey sites (Raritan, Titusville), Raynham, MA, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, or West Chester, PA.



Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.



Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.




Position Overview:

The primary scope of the Senior Financial Analyst role is to serve as a business partner to the DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction Commercial team. The analyst will provide critical financial insights and influence business decisions that impact business objectives and proactively provide executive level communication regarding financial results.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning and forecasting for the Joint Reconstruction selling budget, including managing selling expenses across forecast cycles, explaining variances to prior forecasts and targets, and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver detailed financial reporting and actionable insights to selling leadership to support informed decision-making and achievement of financial commitments.
  • Facilitate the development and evaluation of commission structures for the Joint Reconstruction selling organization, providing financial analysis and strategic guidance.
  • Build and manage effective relationships with cross-functional partners across DePuy Synthes to support the achievement of financial commitments.
  • Provide financial guidance for ongoing projects by consolidating data, assessing risks and opportunities, developing recommendations, and presenting insights to leadership.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, SOX compliance, and finance requirements associated with the organizational transition.
  • Demonstrate agility by supporting evolving priorities across the Joint Reconstruction and broader DePuy Synthes teams and proactively developing knowledge of diverse areas of the business.


Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required.
  • CPA, MBA, CMA or other related certification is preferred.



Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of three years of finance, business experience or related leadership experience is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required.
  • Collaborative and inquisitive style while working with a cross-functional organization with many partners is required.
  • Ability to apply data and strong analytics to influence executive decision making is required.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with various levels of management and external customers is also required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required.
  • This role may require up to 10% domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79,000-$127,650

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
