We are searching for the best talent for Senior Hospital Operations Specialist to be in West Chester, PA.

The Senior Trauma Hospital Operations Specialist is a strategic partner to Field Sales and Sales Leadership, helping enable growth and clinical readiness through disciplined inventory planning, advanced analytics, and effective execution. As part of the Hospital Operations Sales Support team, this role develops and deploys strategies that help ensure the right inventory and resources are positioned across accounts and territories while improving overall inventory efficiency.

This position translates complex sales and inventory data into clear insights and practical recommendations. The specialist works closely with leaders and cross-functional partners to identify opportunities, guide decisions, coordinate inventory actions, support new product introductions, and lead projects that improve commercial performance. Success requires strong analytical judgment, clear communication, project leadership, and the ability to turn insight into action.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with Field Sales and Sales Leadership to develop and execute strategies that support growth, clinical readiness, and balanced deployment of inventory across assigned accounts and territories.
  • Identify business questions and analytical needs, then translate sales, inventory, and operational data into clear insights, recommendations, and actions.
  • Lead and coordinate inventory rebalancing, reallocation, and pullback initiatives to improve inventory productivity while supporting customer and procedural needs.
  • Coordinate new product introduction launches and new set deployments to appropriate customer accounts and Field Sales Network locations.
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities that can improve sales execution, inventory availability, and operational performance.
  • Use the latest available data, analytical methods, and visualization tools to support fact-based decision-making and optimal inventory levels.
  • Manage and prioritize Field Sales Organization support requests, ensuring timely communication, clear ownership, and effective resolution.
  • Develop, improve, and support field sales systems, tools, and processes that increase efficiency across the end-to-end sales process.
  • Perform data mining, validation, analysis, and visualization for sales, inventory, and operational stakeholders.
  • Support implementation of commercial strategies by helping applicable sales teams adopt new processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from problem definition through implementation, monitoring progress, managing risks, and communicating outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver concise presentations and executive-ready updates that connect analysis to business impact and recommended action.
  • Mentor team members, share best practices, and transfer knowledge across functions, departments, and operating companies.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned in support of team and business priorities.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Required Experience and Skills

  • At least four years of relevant business experience in logistics, finance, marketing, manufacturing, commercial operations, sales, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating projects across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and develop practical solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using data visualization and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and visualizing data, with a proven ability to convert analysis into insights that drive action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor information for field teams, cross-functional partners, and leadership audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver clear, persuasive presentations.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working effectively across functions and organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience communicating and partnering with field sales organizations.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Advanced Excel capabilities, including macros, linked workbooks, and scalable inventory analysis.
  • Experience using systems that support set requests, inventory reallocation, new product introductions, and competitive conversions.
  • Experience applying process improvement methods to simplify work, improve controls, or increase operational efficiency.
  • Direct experience with inventory management and sales analysis.
  • Experience with SAP, Optimizer, Salesforce, or comparable enterprise systems.
  • Experience in the medical device industry or another regulated healthcare environment.

On October 14, 2025, Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

It is anticipated following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes, and your employment would be governed by Orthopaedics employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Details of any planned changes would be provided to you by Orthopaedics at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79,000.00 - $127,650.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
