The program

Our Associate Clinical Account Specialist (ACAS) role is a full-time, hands-on, high-impact opportunity with Biosense Webster. You'll gain valuable experience in clinical settings, act as the "eyes" of physicians during arrythmia ablation procedures and help patients with cardiac arrythmias live healthier, longer lives by delivering breakthrough MedTech innovation. Along the way, you'll also build trusting partnerships with physicians, electrophysiologists, electrophysiology lab teams and other stakeholders across the U.S. To excel in this role, you may be required to travel locally, regionally and nationally.

  • Those who complete the training program are eligible for promotion into a Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) role

Biosense Webster, Inc. is the global leader in the science of diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. The company established its leadership in electrophysiology with the development of the first real-time, 3D cardiac mapping and navigation technology, as well as the first electrophysiology catheter. The introduction of the company’s CARTO® 3 System in 2009 revolutionized 3D mapping technology by increasing the accuracy, speed and efficiency of the cardiac ablation procedure.

Who we’re looking for

Our ideal candidates have strong technical skills, strategic mindsets and exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal capabilities. They should be able to thrive in highly complex, global work environments and enjoy taking initiative, setting priorities and exceeding goals.

Program requirements (must meet at least one of the following):

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree by December 2024 
  • A minimum of two years of related professional experience (engineering in a procedural hospital setting) with an associate degree
  • A minimum of one year of electrophysiology mapping experience with an associate degree
  • Have graduated from an accredited academic program or industry prep school with a focus on electrophysiology and a bachelor’s degree
  • Exiting a branch of the U.S. military with an associate degree
  • Priority given to candidates with bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following STEM fields: biology, biochemistry, cardiac function and interventional technology, engineering (biomedical, computer science, chemical, electrical, mechanical and general engineering), health sciences and kinesiology
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the U.S. up to 40%, including overnights locally, regionally and nationally
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (we do not accept OPT/CPT)
  • Geographic flexibility with potential for relocation
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
