Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an IM Finance Tech Lead to support the Innovative Medicine (IM) Finance Transformation program. The preferred location for this role is in the EMEA region.
At Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, we are working to create a world without disease. Our focus is on transforming lives through earlier intervention, better treatments, and smarter approaches to prevention and cure. This is an opportunity to contribute to a passionate organization that brings together science, technology, and talent to improve health for patients around the world.
Innovative Medicine Finance Transformation (IMFT) is a global finance transformation program that will modernise end-to-end finance processes across the Innovative Medicine value chain. The program is designed to standardise processes and data across financial planning activities, including FX, PII, and Tax, while enabling stronger actuals and variance analysis across the relevant capabilities. IMFT will also enable more consistent reporting across Finance teams. By building a scalable digital backbone, IMFT will strengthen business agility and address critical system modernisation needs for the future.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of finance capabilities within the Innovative Medicine business. Johnson & Johnson is seeking a leader with solid experience in managing technology products in the finance domain, owning end-to-end technology selection, and integrating products into the J&J ecosystem to set direction, drive implementation, and advance global standardization across the IM Finance landscape. The IM Finance Tech Lead will also serve on the Pharm Supply Chain Finance JJT leadership team.
As a key member of the Finance Transformation team, the IM Finance Tech Lead will lead a team of 10+ Johnson & Johnson experts and 20+ consultants. The main focus of this role is to assess best-in-class technology solutions for identified business capabilities, drive vendor engagement, and perform technology assessments and validations in partnership with various technology groups. Partner with procurement and compliance teams within Johnson & Johnson. In identifying the best-fit solution, this role will also perform make-versus-buy assessments to determine the right technology capabilities across the Finance and technology landscape. The IM Finance Tech Lead will lead and shape intercompany-relevant finance capabilities such as Intercompany Pricing, Intercompany Archetypes, and their integration with Supply Chain process areas and downstream finance process areas. This role will support the end-to-end IM Finance data strategy, enabling the development of the right analytics and AI capabilities for the finance business.
This role requires strong people leadership, including talent development through Johnson & Johnson’s 3E model (Education, Exposure, Experience), and the ability to influence across functions, technologies, and programs. The leader will oversee platform governance, continuous improvement, strategic capability enablement, human-centred design, and integration across the digital ecosystem. In close partnership with Template Owners, Process Owners, and Deployment leaders, this role will help drive multiple concurrent deployments, align resources, and support demand and enhancement intake across Finance partners.
