About Electrophysiology (EP)

We at Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support the Netherlands region.

Purpose of the role
To meet and exceed sales and profit targets for the geographic area, delivering outstanding business results and develop catheter utilisation in Electrophysiology to gain market share and to achieve sales targets aligned with the business plan.

This role consists of:

Driving Sales

  • Lead and drive overall sales growth, market share and competitive positioning across the region, in close partnership with the Business Unit Director and cross-functional teams
  • Own the translation of strategy into execution by setting direction, prioritizing accounts and ensuring delivery of robust commercial and account plans aligned with global, EMEA and local priorities
  • Steer pricing, tender and contracting strategies across accounts, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution and compliance with commercial frameworks
  • Build and elevate strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including KOLs, hospital leadership and economic decision makers, to secure long-term business impact
  • Leverage customer and market insights to guide decision-making, shape regional strategy and proactively identify growth opportunities
  • Ensure disciplined performance management by driving focus on high-impact opportunities and continuously monitoring competitive dynamics

Strategic Account Management

  • Own and drive long-term strategic account plans (3–5 years) for accounts in your region
  • Identify, prioritize and convert strategic opportunities, translating them into measurable financial impact
  • Shape and execute partnerships beyond product sales, including value-based agreements and system-wide collaborations
  • Act as executive-level relationship owner for senior non-clinical stakeholders (e.g. C-level, procurement, policymakers)
  • Oversee complex pricing, contracting and tender strategies in collaboration with relevant functions
  • Ensure delivery of strategic, commercial and partnership objectives, balancing growth, profitability and sustainability


Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, driving engagement, accountability and a strong performance culture
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding and development of team members, including regular coaching and field feedback
  • Set clear targets, monitor performance and proactively address capability gaps
  • Develop talent pipelines and succession plans to support long-term organizational growth

Requirements

  • Degree level education in Scientific, Business, Life Science or Medical Areas
  • At least 5 years of experience and excellent track record in sales, commercial operations and marketing in the MedTech sector
  • Involvement in several assignments that demonstrate the development of key leadership skills, preferably projects lead on marketing and or commercial assignments.
  • Experience within the Cardiovascular and/ or Electrophysiology environment would be an advantage.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with a proven track record of fostering collaboration, building high-performing teams, and leading through influence in a corporate organization.
  • A team player and independent thinker with the ability to coach, guide and develop others to reach their potential, achieving business results.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€76,200.00 - €123,395.00

Benefits:

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions. Moreover, we offer vacation days, parental leave for a minimum of 12 weeks, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well-being reimbursement, programs for financial, physical and mental health.
