MedTech Transcend is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Product Costing Release Lead to help drive successful deployments across a complex global organization. This is a high-impact role for a finance or supply chain professional who brings strong SAP knowledge, manufacturing finance expertise, hands-on SAP product costing experience, and the ability to work confidently across Finance, Supply Chain Operations, IT, and implementation partners. In this role, you will lead Product Cost release readiness through testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare, helping ensure a smooth transition to SAP S/4HANA and strong operational and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead product costing release activities for SAP S/4HANA, including planning, issue management, risk tracking, and readiness coordination.
Partner with Finance, Supply Chain Operations, IT, and implementation teams to deliver product costing processes that support manufacturing and inventory valuation needs.
Support SAP S/4HANA product costing design, including standard costing, cost estimates, cost rollups, and related master data requirements.
Oversee costing runs and standard cost validation to help ensure accurate financial and operational reporting.
Help drive Material Ledger and actual costing readiness, including month-end activities, inventory revaluation, and variance analysis.
Lead business testing for inventory processes across FIT, BST, and UAT, partnering with IT and system integrators to validate solutions and resolve defects.
Support cutover planning and execution for Product Costing activities, including data readiness, validation, reconciliations, and deployment checkpoints.
Help prepare teams for go-live by supporting cutover, training, SOPs, work instructions, business readiness, and post-go-live adoption activities.
Act as a trusted SAP S/4HANA Product Costing SME during go-live and hypercare, helping teams quickly resolve issues and stabilize operations.
IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in finance, cost accounting, SAP delivery, or transformation work in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
Hands-on SAP S/4HANA product costing experience, including standard costing, cost estimates, variance analysis, and close activities.
Experience with Material Ledger and actual costing is strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of manufacturing finance and SAP integration across Finance, Controlling, Procurement, Production Planning, and inventory management.
Experience supporting SAP testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization is preferred.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, PMP, MBA, or SAP certification are a plus.
