We at Johnson & Johnson MedTech Biosurgery are seeking a Maintenance and Calibration Technician to join our team located in Nes-Ziona, Israel.
In this role you will be:
- Performing periodic maintenance and repairs on the plant's utilities and production equipment.
- Calibrating and maintaining a wide variety of equipment used production and labs, including temperature sensors, pressure gauges, scales, and analytical instruments.
- Maintain and repair mechanical malfunctions to equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure that they are operating properly and safely and produces accurate and precise measurements..
- Ensure that the equipment and operate efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all measuring and testing equipment used in production processes are functioning accurately and reliably
- Collaborate with production, SC, QC and maintenance teams to solve technical problems.
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and calibration work performed, including parts used, repairs made, and any preventative maintenance measures taken.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in equipment/ utility systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry
- Advanced knowledge in calibration with certifications - a must
- Strong technical expertise in equipment design, development, and maintenance
- Ability to work in shifts (including nights and weekends).
- Availability for nonroutine hours failures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, specifications, and schematics.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when maintaining records and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.
- Continuous improvement mindset to seek opportunities to optimize utility systems and processes / equipment performance and efficiency.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment.
