DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst based in Zuchwil, Switzerland, or Diegem, Belgium, to join the Supply Chain DACH Finance team.

We offer a fixed-term contract for 18 months.

In this role, you will support and improve financial planning and analysis activities, helping strengthen reporting, business insights and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely, accurate monthly and quarterly actuals and budget reporting across all applicable platforms (Bravo, TM1, ERP, CFIN)
    • Cover approximately 10 legal entities across Switzerland and Germany
    • Ensure financial reporting aligns with applicable governance and control requirements
    • Lead clear and effective communication with senior management and finance teams
      • Conduct analysis and present insights for SOX reviews, including headcount bridges, P&L scorecards and ad hoc analysis
      • Communicate priorities, set clear expectations and ensure strict deadlines are met across finance teams
      • Validate data inputs and work with finance teams to explain major changes versus the previous update cycle or reporting period
      • Control and manage support function spend
  • Hold quarterly reviews with business partners to discuss key spend drivers and variances
  • Monitor and control support function spend and headcount across Finance, HR, Procurement, Business IT and Operations IT
  • Review and approve purchase orders in line with budget availability and governance requirements
  • Prepare journal entries, including accruals, reclasses and prepayments
  • Drive FP&A harmonization, standardization and continuous improvement across the Centre of Excellence
    • Identify and implement automation opportunities that improve reporting efficiency, strengthen business continuity and make effective use of available data analytics tools, including Alteryx and Power BI
    • Play an active role in finance transformation initiatives, supporting implementation, adoption and change management across teams

Qualifications

Education:

  • University/Master’s Degree or Equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 3–5 years of relevant finance experience, ideally in FP&A, reporting, accounting or business partnering
  • Strong analytical approach, with the ability to simplify complex business issues and translate financial data into clear insights
  • Proven track record to manage projects and processes with accuracy, structure and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliation in line with J&J Worldwide Procedures, DCMs, SOPs and ICH requirements
  • Strong sense of urgency, sound judgment and the ability to take appropriate action independently
  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively in virtual and cross-functional environments
  • Excellent communication, business partnering and influencing skills, including the ability to align collaborators across cultures on financial priorities, constraints and difficult decisions
  • Highly computer literate, with experience using ERP systems (preferably SAP P01 and S4 Hana) and Microsoft Office tools
  • Confident English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€60’000.00 - €96’255.00
