Supply Chain Young Graduate Development Program

What is the Supply Chain Young Graduate Development Program?

Ready to build your supply chain leadership skills while making an impact with your career? Participants in this three-year program can be assigned to the following organizations:

  • Innovative medicine supply chain, chemical production (Geel)
  • Clinical supply chain
  • CAR-T supply chain
  • Deliver
  • Engineering and property services
  • Innovative medicine supply chain, pharmaceutical production (Beerse) 

During the program, participants rotate yearly within their assigned organization to gain experience in different functional areas, such as production, quality, planning, engineering, technical operations and warehouse. After completing three rotations, participants can look for a permanent role within the company.

What are the application requirements?

Ideal candidates for this program have strong technical capabilities as well as exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates should be able to thrive in a highly complex, global work environment, and excel at taking initiative, setting priorities and exceeding goals. Requirements include:

  • Master of Engineering, including bio-engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and business engineering
  • Master of Science, including biomedical, pharmaceutical, etc. 
  • In process of obtaining a master’s degree in engineering or science during their year in the program and have a strong interest in production and supply chain operations
  • An additional master's degree in management is preferred

Candidates should also be:

  • Flexible and willing to step out of their comfort zones
  • Proactive and able to take ownership of their tasks 
  • Able to navigate complex issues as they relate to business needs
  • Decisive and able to multitask
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (or willing to become fluent in Dutch)
