We are searching for the best talent for Assistant Supply Chain Manager_Vision Care
This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations for Taiwan VC, including warehouse & distribution, inbound freight, and trade compliance. The Associate Manager ensures logistics operations consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, optimize supply chain performance, and enable compliant and sustainable business growth.
Working Relationships:
Internal: Local, regional, and global cross‑functional teams (Deliver, Plan, Commercial, Finance, Quality, QA, Procurement, etc.)
External: Customers and consumers, third‑party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, customs brokers, and domestic couriers
You will be responsible for:
Customer Focus & Business Growth Enablement
Identify, prioritize, and implement customer‑centric, end‑to‑end supply chain solutions that support business growth.
Ensure logistics and supply chain processes are aligned with customer needs and business requirements.
Monitor supply chain performance (e.g., OTIF‑D) and proactively lead corrective and continuous improvement actions.
Partner with cross‑functional teams on new product introductions (NPI) and product lifecycle management to ensure operational readiness.
Deploy new technologies, digital tools, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and service levels.
Participate in network optimization studies and capacity planning exercises.
Manage 3PL and logistics service provider relationships to achieve agreed performance targets.
Lead contract management activities to ensure continuity, compliance, and no service disruption.
Drive engagement initiatives such as Distribution Week to promote recognition, learning, and reflection within operations.
Compliance, Quality & Safety
Ensure full compliance with local regulations and Johnson & Johnson financial, quality, and compliance requirements.
Support and accommodate internal and external audits, striving for minimal or zero findings.
Adhere strictly to EH&S and S&OD guidelines and principles across all logistics operations.
Foster a strong compliance and quality culture within internal teams and external partners
Cost Management & Profitability
Manage operational costs and budgets to ensure service continuity within approved financial frameworks.
Identify, lead, and implement Cost Improvement Projects (CIPs) to deliver sustainable productivity and profitability improvements.
Ensure full adherence to the RFQ and tendering processes when supporting sourcing and contracting activities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
High level of English proficiency (written and spoken).
10–15 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, and distribution operations
Lean / Continuous Improvement certification (Green Belt / Black Belt) preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven problem‑solving capability with a data‑driven and structured approach.
Solid financial acumen with a P&L and cost‑to‑serve mindset.
Strong quality, compliance, and risk management mindset
