Purpose: The Product Group Leader sets the vision, strategy, and objectives for a product group and is accountable for holistic value delivery across a portfolio of products and platforms. Working hand-in-hand with business and technology leadership, this role aligns customer and stakeholder needs with enterprise priorities, orchestrates cross-product roadmaps, and ensures teams are equipped, funded, and empowered to deliver measurable outcomes throughout the product lifecycle.

The Product Group Leader sets the vision, strategy, and objectives for the Customer & Sales and Marketing & Education product group across the Asia Pacific region. The role is accountable for holistic value delivery across a portfolio of products and platforms that enable commercial excellence, customer engagement, marketing effectiveness, sales force productivity, and education outcomes.

The Product Group Leader will be working very closely with the Butterfly team to ensure that implementation of Butterfly in region is done flawlessly.

You will be responsible for:

  • Vision, strategy, and value delivery: Define and communicate a clear product group vision and strategic direction in partnership with business and technology leaders, translating enterprise goals and customer needs into objectives, outcomes, and roadmaps. Ensure product teams are focused on building the right capabilities, maximising return on investment, and delivering measurable value through agreed OKRs and key performance indicators.

  • Portfolio orchestration and alignment: Lead cross-product roadmap and release planning, balancing demand, dependencies, and constraints across teams and platforms. Work across product groups to connect solutions end-to-end, resolve prioritisation trade-offs, and coordinate delivery to support cohesive customer journeys and operational processes.

  • Stakeholder partnership and governance: Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, managing expectations and facilitating informed decision-making on scope, sequencing, and outcomes. Drive regular business reviews for the product group, providing transparency on progress, risks, metrics, and maturity, and ensuring product visions and plans remain fit-for-purpose as priorities evolve.

  • Metrics, insights, and continuous improvement: Define and track metrics to monitor value realisation across the product lifecycle, including end-user or customer outcomes, product performance, team health, and product group maturity. Use data, feedback, and learning to continuously improve ways of working, refine product strategy, and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, or modernise capabilities.

  • Financial and resource stewardship: Partner with portfolio and funding leaders to plan capacity, manage financials, and secure dedicated funding for teams. Contribute to investment planning and prioritisation by articulating value cases, clarifying assumptions, and ensuring resources are aligned to the highest-value outcomes across the product group.

  • Leadership, culture, and ways of working: Foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and collaboration across cross-functional teams, encouraging diverse perspectives and constructive challenge. Champion agile, customer- and user-centric practices and support teams in removing barriers, accelerating decision-making, and responding effectively to changing needs and external requirements.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strategic product leadership: Ability to define a compelling vision and value proposition, align stakeholders, and translate strategy into clear objectives, roadmaps, and outcomes.

  • Customer and market insight: Strong understanding of customer/user needs and industry trends, using insights to shape priorities and drive adoption.

  • Portfolio and roadmap management: Skilled at managing dependencies, trade-offs, and sequencing across multiple products/teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.

  • Value and performance management: Experience defining OKRs/KPIs and using data to guide decisions, demonstrate value, and improve product maturity.

  • Financial and investment acumen: Comfort with business drivers, funding models, and financial metrics to prioritise work and optimise return on investment.

  • Agile, experimentation mindset: Demonstrated ability to lead with agility, enabling iterative delivery, learning, and continuous improvement.

  • Influence and communication: Strong storytelling and stakeholder management skills; able to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment across business and technology.

  • People leadership and culture building: Ability to empower teams, build accountability, and create an inclusive environment aligned to Credo, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion principles.

  • Foundational digital/technology fluency: Working knowledge of modern digital and data concepts (e.g., data engineering, cybersecurity, automation, and emerging technologies) sufficient to partner effectively with engineering and architecture leaders.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business). Master’s degree preferred.

  • 8+ years in technology leadership with direct experience leading line‑of‑business, engineering, data operations, or product teams; 6+ years of people leadership operating at scale in matrixed environments

  • Significant experience leading product portfolios, platforms, or complex digital capabilities in a large, matrixed organisation.

  • Experience partnering with senior business and technology leaders to shape strategy, manage demand, and deliver outcomes aligned to enterprise priorities.

  • Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional teams (product, engineering, design, data, operations) to deliver measurable results.
