- Lead execution of centralized monitoring reviews for assigned risk areas in accordance with established frameworks, methodologies, and standard operating procedures; provide guidance to peers on approach and documentation standards.
- Perform complex reviews of transactional and behavioural data to identify potential compliance risks, anomalies, or control gaps; apply judgement to distinguish true risk from false positives and recommend next steps.
- Document review steps, findings, and supporting rationale with a high standard of clarity and defensibility in required tools/templates to ensure audit-ready records; coach others on documentation quality as needed.
- Categorize findings, apply defined thresholds, and support timely escalation in line with governance requirements; prepare clear summaries to enable decision-making by Compliance stakeholders.
- Contribute to, and as assigned lead, quality checks and calibration activities; address feedback and drive actions to improve accuracy, consistency, and cycle time of monitoring outputs.
Trend Identification, Reporting & Insights
- Synthesize patterns, themes, and recurring risks across monitoring outputs; translate insights into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
- Support and, as assigned, lead preparation of consolidated monitoring summaries and periodic reporting for regional and global compliance stakeholders; ensure accuracy, consistency, and appropriate context.
- Partner with other HCC teams to incorporate monitoring insights into dashboards, metrics, and analytical products; help define requirements, validate outputs, and interpret trends for stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Support
- Provide continuous improvement input on monitoring methodologies, sampling strategies, review criteria, templates, and guidance documents; pilot refinements and share learnings to support standardization.
- Support maintenance and enhancement of documentation standards, audit readiness, and governance practices across monitoring processes; identify control gaps and recommend pragmatic remediation actions.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the Monitoring & Trending team, including mentoring of peers, participation in team discussions, and capture of lessons learned and best practices.
Compliance Training Execution & Enablement
- Support and coordinate execution of regionally assigned compliance training programs in accordance with global requirements, defined curricula, and rollout plans; proactively manage dependencies and risks.
- Lead day-to-day coordination of compliance trainings for PC teams and other in-scope audiences, supporting timely completion across locations and addressing execution issues as they arise.
- Support operationalization of updates to training requirements (e.g., new/revised policies, standards, risk priorities) by coordinating local rollout, communications, and reinforcement activities.
- Partner with Compliance Capability, Learning, and regional Compliance teams to align training execution with enterprise compliance frameworks, avoid duplication, and ensure consistent learner experience.
- Monitor training execution effectiveness through completion metrics, learner feedback, and observed compliance outcomes; identify improvement opportunities and escalate risks or gaps as appropriate.
- Support knowledge reinforcement and practical application of compliance requirements through ongoing engagement, targeted guidance, and capability-building activities; share common pain points and propose enhancements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Law, or related field.
- 5–8 years’ experience in compliance, audit, risk management, monitoring, and/or analytics, with demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret transactional data and translate results into actionable insights.
