Johnson & Johnson is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Electrophysiology Division, based in London, UK. As a global leader in heart rhythm management, we offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on healthcare while working with advanced medical technologies.

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of highly sophisticated systems. You will work directly with customers, both on-site and remotely, to resolve technical issues, ensure system reliability, and build strong, long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, maintain, and repair advanced medical systems used for 3D cardiac mapping and electrophysiology procedures.

  • Independently manage your service territory including planning and prioritizing weekly activities.

  • Diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions promptly and effectively.

  • Travel extensively within the assigned region and occasionally across Europe, including on short notice.

  • Drive customer satisfaction through regular performance reviews, complaint analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Accurately document service activities in the Service Management System.

  • Communicate technical issues, risks, and improvement opportunities to management.

  • Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.

  • Previous experience in field service or the medical device industry is preferred.

  • Solid understanding of service and troubleshooting principles.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with standard test equipment (e.g., digital multimeter, safety tester).

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and off-hours, when required.

  • Physically able to lift and move equipment up to 35 kg, with frequent standing and bending.

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Valid driver’s license.

Additional Information

  • Role split: approximately 80% field-based and 20% office-based, fully remote.
