Assistant Finance Manager, Depuy Synthes China Finance responsible to provide financial partner to one/two DS China Business Units, including driving overall financial governance, reporting, planning cycles, and investment decision.
Key Responsibilities
Provide holistic financial support to CMFT/Trauma Business Units, be part of BU leadership team to drive performance.
Responsible for BU financial reporting/Cycles with comprehensive financial forecast/analysis of PNL/BS to driven data driven performance tracking.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior periods, with business insights.
Contribute to key BU projects and business initiatives.
Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
Partner with commercial leader and Function stakeholders to provide financial insights that support business performance and decision‑making.
Assist with internal and external audit requests and ad hoc financial analyses as needed.

KEY COMPETENCIES
Competency
5+ years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
Preferable experience with proven success in commercial Finance
Foundational knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
Education & Professional Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
Member of CPA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent
Language Requirements
Fluent English in both speaking and writing
