JOB SUMMARY*

Supervises experienced business enablers and/or entry individual contributors. Manages day-to-day critical supply chain Warehouse and Distribution standard operating procedures, critical milestones, key performance measures, and end deliverables. Defines project terms for high-level departmental delegation for warehouse material movement and the subsequent processing and distribution of all finished goods and services in compliance with regulatory agency protocols, quality standards and applicable local and federal regulations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Supervises individual contributors and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.

  • Oversees high-level Gel Mix / Warehouse and Distribution supply chain logistics operations, from initial receiving of components in materials movement, to the final distribution and transportation of finished goods.

  • Supports initiatives to ensure that all warehouse& Gel Mixing areas are properly maintained, and that product is stored and handled in accordance with requirements established by company policies and procedures as well as federal and local regulatory requirements.

  • Measures and monitors site inventory by verifying accuracy for all transactions, following departmental cycle count programs, to avoid physical inventory inaccuracies.

  • Collects relevant, current competitor activity and announcements to create innovative ideas for new Warehouse and Distribution strategies.

  • Ensures core Warehouse and Distribution procedures are in accordance with local and federal regulatory policies and requirements.

  • Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within expected standards.

  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.

  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION*

  • Requires 2-4 Years Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management Preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS*

  • APICS CLTD certification desired.

  • Green Belt six-sigma certification desired.

  • ERP systems / concept knowledge desired.

  • Strong organization skills and an aptitude for planning.

  • Accuracy with attention to detail.

  • Proactive approach.

  • Persuading and influencing others.

  • Can drive continuous process improvements.

  • Experienced execution in ERP / planning systems user preferred.

  • Production planning or manufacturing experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
