Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is hiring a Market Access Manager to join our Market Access team located in Casablanca, Morocco.
GENERAL INFORMATION

Overall Purpose of Job
The Market Access Manager (MAM) is locally accountable for the market access strategy implementation and action plan for the Morocco portfolio thanks to high-quality deliverables that support timely and sustainable patient access. The role combines value and reimbursement dossier preparation, value projects development and implementation, pricing business-case preparation, launch readiness, patient access solutions and stakeholder engagement.
The MAM works closely with the Market Access team members as well as with cross-functional teams. The Market Access Manager will report to the Market Access Head Maghreb and FSA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Field-time allocation: Approximately 20% of working time, according to business needs.
Develop and implement Morocco market access plans
- Translate regional access, pricing and reimbursement strategy into tactical plans for priority therapeutic areas and brands, with clear objectives, milestones and resource requirements.
- Build launch-access plans for new products and pipeline assets, anticipating evidence, pricing, reimbursement and stakeholder needs.
- Design and support compliant, sustainable patient access programs based on patient, brand and segment identified needs; monitor performance and coordinate relevant external partners.
Lead technical access deliverables and value recognition initiatives
- Develop value and reimbursement dossiers, evidence packs, value propositions and health-economic analyses in line with evolving national requirements.
- Conduct pricing analyses, and scenario assessments, and support the preparation of robust business cases for internal submissions.
- Provide market access training to Strategic Account Managers and other relevant teams.
- Develop compliant materials to support external communication on access programs, value propositions and market access initiatives.
Environment Insights and stakeholder engagement
- Consolidate and analyze insights on patient-pathway barriers, payer requirements, policy developments and competitive dynamics to identify emerging access opportunities and risks and recommend practical actions.
- Develop a strong understanding of access pathways and specific requirements across public and private sectors and relevant patient and payer segments.
- Key access stakeholders’ engagement in line with the approved engagement strategy (health authorities, payers, institutions, healthcare professionals).
- Support national advisory boards, payer events and broader healthcare-environment initiatives.
Drive aligned and compliant execution
- Partner with Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Pharmacovigilance, Quality and regional access teams.
- Manage access projects against agreed timelines and coordinate field implementation with relevant internal functions and external partners.
- Manage and monitor assigned projects and functional budgets.
The Market Access Manager will interact with
- Externally: Local payers, public and private institutions, healthcare professionals, service providers and other relevant access stakeholders.
- Internally: The Regional Market Access Head, Strategic Account Managers, Market Access Coordinator, Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Pharmacovigilance, Quality and regional access teams.
Compliance Responsibilities
- Ensure safety reporting requirements are met in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures when planning projects, developing materials, executing activities and contracting external partners.
- Ensure legal, compliance, fair-market-value, transfer-of-value, data-privacy and materials-review requirements are understood and appropriately applied when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors.
- Maintain inspection readiness, including completion of required training and appropriate documentation.
Job Requirements
Essential Knowledge and Skills
- University degree in pharmacy, medicine, life sciences, public health, business or a related discipline; postgraduate training in health economics, Market access or health policy is an advantage.
- 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement, health economics or a closely related function.
- Strong knowledge of the Moroccan healthcare system, payer environment, reimbursement pathways and key public and private institutions.
- Demonstrated experience developing access strategies, value dossiers, health-economic analyses, pricing analyses, business cases or patient access solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build and interpret pricing models, financial simulations, business cases, trackers and scenario analyses.
- Strong analytical, technical writing and presentation skills, with the ability to translate strategic insights into practical, evidence-based initiatives.
- Strong project-management capability, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple dossiers, submissions and launch-access workstreams against demanding timelines.
- Proven field stakeholder-management experience, with the ability to communicate, influence, negotiate and build sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and deliver results effectively within a matrix and evolving organization.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English; Arabic is an advantage.
