Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Responsibilities
Analysis & Reporting
Conduct analyses, develop conclusions & communicate recommendations to Operations, and Supply Chain.
Create, monitor, support and oversee reports and dashboards in Excel and Power BI.
Work with large data sets, glean intelligence from data, draw conclusions, and enabling recommendations to key stakeholder groups.
Generate and maintain reports for inventory projections, backorders, set deployments
Maintains and updates dashboard for key performance metrics on a regular basis
Supports tactical management of Excess and Obsolescence process execution and claims management process with strategic supplier
Generates reports in support of the Cost Improvement and CaPex Governance process
Monitors reports of Safety Stock levels to meet established targets
Core Processes & Project Support
Exhibit advanced broad experience to develop and resolve complex models and procedures.
Partner with different stakeholders to build and streamline supply chain operations processes.
Support external operations teams by collecting and organizing data to inform and drive decisions.
Identify needs, develop and implement standardized tools, methodologies, and processes aimed at improving operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business/technical field or demonstrated relevant experience.
3+ years’ experience in Operations, Supply Chain or other functional related experience.
MBA and APICS certification are desirable.
Strong knowledge of Power BI and Tableau application is highly preferred
Good MS Office application skills. Specifically, Excel/PowerPoint. Accounts Payable knowledge is an advantage
Able to generate conclusions from analyses to drive decisions and able to communicate those to diverse audiences both verbally and in writing.
Experience in medical technology or other life sciences industry is preferred.
Self-motivated and able to prioritize work effectively and independently.
Strong attention to detail and good presentation skills
Able to understand and clarify ambiguous stakeholder requests.
Able to solve complex problems with strong intellectual curiosity.
Very good knowledge of English (must); Good knowledge of German (preferred)
