The Opportunity

The Marketing Associate (Surgery) is responsible for end-to-end planning and delivery of external events, conferences, and promotional activities to ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences. The role also provides operational and logistical support for marketing and sales, maintaining the Surgery conference calendar and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to enable successful product launches and customer engagement. In addition, the role provides exposure to and development in product management, including product lifecycle management, forecasting, and strategic planning.

The role will be based in Sydney.

Responsibilities

  • End‑to‑end external event and conference project management, owning submissions, planning, logistics, billing, and execution to deliver consistent, high‑quality customer experiences.
  • Own and maintain the Surgery conference and event calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing priorities, timely planning, and clear communication to internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate operational and logistical activities, including supplier management, equipment tracking, billing support, and cross‑functional coordination to enable smooth execution of marketing and sales activity.
  • Support product management activities including supply management, lifecycle planning, asset creation and refinement, and clear, strategic communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Providing day‑to‑day support to the Surgery Marketing team, including asset coordination, meeting support, and ad‑hoc marketing project assistance to ensure timely, compliant execution.
