The pharmaceutical world is going through a period of important technological transformations, where the needs of the patient and the quality of the work performed are predominant.

For the Italian production plant of Janssen (Borgo San Michele, Latina) we are looking for two Associate PROJECT ENGINEER to be hired with a one-year Temporary Contract in the Engineering Department.

Within the Engineering team, you will be responsible for the design and introduction of new pharma products within the site, as well as the implementation of new packaging configuration and new technologies in order to meet the continuous changes in market needs. Of course, your contribution will have a direct effect on our patients! As well as you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovation projects, which are fundamental for the growth of the plant in terms of efficiency and right first time.

Developing competitive solutions is relevant part of our work, being involved in robotics systems design and other software solutions for the pharma sector with a high technological impact, in line with Industry 4.0.

On one hand you will manage the collaboration with different departments structuring the design of new solutions with them and suppliers; on the other hand, technology evolves and is improved during daily work to increase the efficiency of processes step by step. It is therefore a particularly exciting role, flawless for those who want to be ahead of the market of robotics and automation, entering a new pharma industrial revolution phase that focuses heavily on inter-connectivity, machine learning, and real-time data.

Your qualifications:

  • University Degree - Engineering preferred (Chemical, Mechanical, Automation, Computer or Management Engineering) other Degrees can be considered
  • Proficiency in English is required (B2 level and above)
  • Ability to build strong working partnerships, trust and credibility at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organization skills required

Additional desirable qualifications:

  • Budget management
  • Previous experience in systems improvement, operations and automation

The anticipated pay range for this position, in the primary posting location, is:

€29 800,00 - €48 530,00

The anticipated pay ranges for additional locations are:

Italy – The anticipated base pay range for this position is 29,800.00 EUR – 48,530.00 EUR
