Job purpose

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key finance business partner to the EP&N EMEA leadership team, providing financial leadership, transparency, and decision support across the Regional Office and Electrophysiology Technical Services organization.

This role combines strategic business partnering, financial planning and analysis, operational finance leadership, and process improvement to support both short-term business performance and long-term growth objectives.

A critical component of the role involves supporting the EMEA Technical Services organization, helping enable business growth through robust financial management, governance, and actionable insights. The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global stakeholders to drive financial transparency, support decision-making, and ensure compliance across a complex and evolving organization.

We are looking for a proactive finance professional who challenges the status quo, embraces continuous improvement, and leverages data and analytics to influence business decisions and enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Services Business Partnering (50%)

  • Serve as the Finance Lead for the EMEA Technical Services organization, providing end-to-end financial oversight, governance, and business support.
  • Partner with Technical Services leadership to support business growth, resource planning, productivity initiatives, and investment decisions.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, reporting, and long-range planning activities for EMEA Technical Services.
  • Drive financial transparency and insight across service operations, inventory-related activities, operational KPIs, and key business drivers.
  • Provide financial leadership and analytical support for strategic initiatives, new business opportunities, and transformation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Johnson & Johnson financial policies and support implementation of standardized finance processes.
  • Collaborate closely with country controllers, EMEA FP&A, Supply Chain, Commercial teams, and Global stakeholders to support sustainable business growth.

EP&N EMEA Regional Business Partnering (50%)

  • Act as finance business partner to the EP&N EMEA regional leadership team.
  • Support annual business planning, forecasts, latest thinking updates, and strategic planning activities.
  • Review functional budgets and forecasts (BvA) with business partners and provide actionable insights into business performance.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize spending and support reinvestment decisions aligned with strategic priorities.Support senior leaders in evaluating business cases, organizational changes, and investment decisions through robust financial analysis.
  • Provide financial transparency and decision support across Regional Office initiatives and investments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment, consistency, and best-practice sharing across the region.
  • Support strategic business initiatives and special projects as required.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on simplification, standardization, automation, and digitalization.
  • Leverage analytics and visualization tools to improve reporting, accelerate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute actively to the ongoing evolution of Regional Finance capabilities and ways of working.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and has experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications & experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree, MBA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is considered an asset.

Experience and Skills:

Required

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Financial Controlling, or Business Partnering.
  • Strong financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills within a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Strong business partnering mindset with the ability to challenge constructively and drive action.
  • Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a first-time-right mentality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a multinational organization.
  • Familiarity with J&J systems and reporting tools including AFO, Anaplan, CFIN, and SigniFi.
  • Experience with analytics, visualization, and automation tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, Power Automate, or similar solutions.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional international organizations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

Kč704,000.00 - Kč1,135,050.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
